However, from a Developer's (ie WotC) Point of View, I think they would still prefer to go Advanced since that means more books to sell. That said, WotC need not only sell Mechanical books, but Content-related books are welcome too.
In the end, I'll probably be stuck playing 4E until 5E officially releases, and then a little longer as it sinks to the player base here. Have signed up for the playtest, might table it to my regular DM but for my own game (with new people) I'll just try to stick to the standard 4E. So meantime, I'll just be twiddling around with Optional/Simplified Rules, and see maybe someone here might see them and like them.
There's also plenty of ideas for Content Creation, as I'm fond of creating things, not just haphazardly but coming up for a System to create things on the fly in a very organised manner (like my comment on Race Demographics, Terrain, Government/Politics, in another post somewhere) that might help people.
In another form, being a marketing person I'd also be interested occasionally to post about how I think WotC might bring D&D to a whole new level.
Well, this is just a Post to get me oriented about what to Blog on, so many ideas bursting around in my head, yeah. I'll try to start every post with a Tag or Two, I guess. Hope its of interest, and feel free to Leave Comments
