Here's the place to post at least drafts or concepts of the characters you're gonna play in the campaign!
It's going to be 6th level and guess what, I'm in!

I have some wonderful ideas for my character already... They're only mechanical, but I always appreciate to come up with interesting mechanics first and build fluff and characterization later around that core! I'm fascinated by the options presented in the Ultimate Magic sourcebook, in particular by the "free form spellcasting" achieved through the Words of Power subsystem! i think it's incredibly good especially when combined to spontaneous casting so I'm basically going to play a Sorcerer or an Oracle... If Sorcerer, I could add a Monk level and go Empyreal Sorcerer and be based on Wisdom. I think it could be really good as a Kor character! Alternatively, I could also dig a Sage Sorcerer based on Int and go Merfolk... Or some other normal Cha-based kind and be Vampire... Oracle is also Cha-based so I guess Vampire could be optimal. I would also like to make it very specialized on "wounding magic"! I also like the idea of Kor or Merfolk Oracles, I guess I should see the racial entries before deciding... As a third option, I might opt for the Magus and go Hexcrafter in case of choosing Vampire (very flavorful!), or I might even choose Surrakar (if available!) and basically play the Surrakar Spellblade, very well represented by the Spellblade (duh) Magus archetype..! The final choice will be amde after seeing the racial write-ups and after seeing what will be most needed in the party or what concepts makes for the most flavorful character... Very excited about this, I hope we find some players!!

Looks fine to me! Just a note though, mostly for flavor: some of the words you use may be inscribed on hedrons, and have nasty consequences in some places in Zendikar. Vyasar

Hey guys. Count me in too. (Also, this is my first post in like 4 years, minimum. I don't even remember when or why I signed up for this account, so forgive me if I'm violating some newfangled forum code.) I think I'm going to try and create a slightly upscaled Kazandu Blademaster (how do you get it to show the card when you scroll over it?). Basically a Lawful Neutral Human Free Hand Fighter, probably using a bastard sword, just because I haven't had a character who used one in a long time. I think I might play him a bit as a duelist, and a lot as a bodyguard. Very much into contracts for whoever he's working for, only doing what he sees as honorable, etc. Magus is also incredibly tempting, but I'm hoping to play one in a RL game this fall, so I'll reign the temptation in for now.

I am totes in on this. I've half a mind to use Echo Mage as my concept card, but I still need to think on it.
Edit: I should mention that I have not quite yet looked over everything here. XD So pardon me if I make any false assumptions.

Awesome! We have four players! We are ready to go. Make sure you all read the rules section, I changed a few things. Can we all have characters ready by Sept. 1st? I'd like them as google docs, linked here if possible. Let me know what you guys say. If you need help with character creation, or have any questions, ask me, or post in this forum. I'm here to help. :-) Vyasar

How are we determining HP? Max at first, roll every other level? Average of the die type?
On a semi-related note, my concept has changed a bit. More emphasis on the duelist, less on the bodyguard (because there are few ways to do it well in Pathfinder, and they do not work well with the blademaster image). And sundering. All the sundering. (Pathfinder changed it so you're not automatically destroying treasure when you sunder. You can break items while not destroying them, and then they can be fixed with Craft checks or spells.)
Also, 4 players? I take it we're including a DMPC?

Max HP at first level, then roll every level for HP. Sounds good! Can't wait to see those Google Doc Links. And yes, 4 players. This is a much tighter campaign, and whether or not you have a DMPC has yet to be seen. Vyasar
