You Read it Right. This is Where Donkeys and Fairies COLLIDE.
This group is dedicated to putting those other wimpier colors ON NOTICE.
White, Black and Green, you have been officially warned. We might let some other cards in, but they have to know their place. Artifacts are okay, too…as long as they bring low or otherwise humiliate non-Noggle cards.
Our wins are powered by
1. Unorthodox Tactics
2. High-speed Hilarity
3. Ants in Pants
4. Zigging Where Others Might Zag
5. Powerful Rhymes
6. Slippery Slopes
7. Mysteries Wrapped in Enigmas
8. Not Too Proud to Occasionally Beg
If this sounds like your bag…wipe the spit off your face, strap on a diving helmet and PLUNGE IN. The water is warm…and made of acid…and tastes deliciousssssss.

The Elder Dragon Highlander format is starting to gain in popularity. This might be because of the challenge of trying to fit all the utility needed for long Multiplayer games, and the consistancy you want when trying to find that one card out of a hundred. It also might be due to how quickly a game can swing in your favor or against you. It could just come down to people wanting to find a place for all of their singleton cards that they just couldn't fit into their highly tuned decks sporting four copies of each card.
Whatever the reason, Elder Dragon Highlander is a very fun format. The basics of the game are to build a 100 card singleton deck {only one copy of a card, except for basic lands} around a General. This General has to be a Legendary Creature, and all the cards in your deck can only have colored mana symbols that appear in your General's Mana Cost.
While browsing the Forums, many posters would ask questions like, "Is it possible to build a competitive EDH deck for under $100." I also read up on the many threads about EDH staples, and the "Top 25 cards" for each color. Unfortunately, if you check out the prices of those cards you could end up spending several hundreds of dollars just to get a single copy of each card on the list. This to me was unacceptable, so I got to work on creating a budget list of staple cards for EDH.
This group is dedicated to the following:
Maintaining a list of the best Budget EDH Staples in each color.
Maintaining a list of the best Budget EDH decks that cost $20 or less.
Maintaining a list of the best Budget EDH Generals.
Examining each new set release for new additions the the Budget lists.

A group for players to get together for playing Magic in a casual setting. We're just here to have some fun with the game we enjoy. We don't care for heavily competitive magic, some competition is fine, but we don't like it overdone.

I currently have no plans as to what will happen inside this group, we may just chat about izzet stuff, or maybe try and start up some sorta Ravnica based role play like the guild wars thread on the old forum.

An artificer provides the innovative weapons, tools, and sometimes the soldiers, to the battlefield for any color and for any reason, if only to design something new and see it work. We are represented by our creations and we strive to invent something that has not been seen before.
A Colorless Mage deals in the power of the blind eternities that is present in every living creature and every object at its most basic level. Like the physics underlying the processes of life, colorless energy may not be obvious to the average mage, but it has a hand in all magic.
Join our group and share creative decks both in colorless purity and where artifacts work closely with all colors.
