This is my first deck, but i've been saving these cards for awhile now. How bad is it?

I've been playing Magic: the Gathering for only a short while. I'm not a big Black Mana player. My boyfriend, who's been playing for 10 years, always uses Black Mana. We bought a Avacyn Restored fat pack and I got Griselbrand. Nick was very jealous, so for FNM i let him borrow it. The last round we were paired, first time in a year. So after a little smack talk I was winning... Until he pulled out Griselbrand. =/

Moral of the Story: Don't loan out really awesome cards.
