Dunno where it went. Lost it like a pro. Nothing good though.

 

Round 1- Got the pass. Casually ate an apple and wandered the room. Took notice of one guy running a nasty looking black/blue infect deck. He happened upon a Skithiryx and two Hand of the Praetors. He went 2-0. I crossed my fingers and...

 

Round 2- Against a black/blue infect deck. 2-0 me. He never got his Skithiryx into play. Also: Turns out that Engulfing Slagwurm makes infect decks cower in obsoleteness. Especially with an Accorder's Shield.

 

Or, wait... damn.

 

Round 3- Against a black/green infect deck. My opponent was the girlfriend of the guy I played in Round 2. The first game lasted in a deadlock between my Engulfing Slagwurm and a Blight Mamba. We ran out of time. 

 

Micro: 4-0-1

Overall: 2 wins, 1 tie, 1st Place (third week in a row)

 

Reward: Rare draft at end. I grabbed Skithiryx, Ratchet Bomb, and a dual land.

 

I believe it's fair to say that I made my $10 back. ;]
