So, ever since getting back into Magic (really getting back into it, not just picking it up for a day or two) some weeks back, I've been thinking long and hard about the kind of deck that I really want. Not just what deck I can slap together with what I have lying around and goof off with, but a real deck to play at a competant level, even special-ordering specific cards if need be. I finally decided to go back to my roots, and make a new version of an old deck I used to love, and by old I mean really flippin' old; Ivory Doom. The twist is that I want to make it legal for Standard Format as of today's date, meaning only cards from the Scars block, Innistrad, and M12. Ever since I saw the Scars block I've grown really fond (not obsessed... I swear...

) of Phyrexian cards, and I found it surprising that there were a good few white Phyrexian cards that could fit as well as the black ones. So, I've got a really good Idea for the kind of deck I want, I just haven't been back in the flow of things for long enough to know off hand exactly which cards would fit best (and how many copies of each). So, if there's anyone out there who loves deckbuilding, theorycrafting, helping people out, etc, then I could use some advice. I'm all ears.

Deck Ideas Summary:
*Black/White Phyrexian theme
*Instant-Kill and Debuff black cards
*Defensive and Healing white cards
*Over all focus on cost efficiency, getting the most for your mana (Grasp of Darkness, Whitesun's Passage, etc.)
*Only a few really mana-intensive cards, but strong ones (Praetors, Chancellors, etc.)
*Standard-Format Legal
