Well now here we are all again facing the adventure known to us as Christmas. I dont know about many of you but once again seeming out of the fog of the year, Christmas managed to get initiative and surprise. My defenses are surely down this year. Perhaps it is all the illusions of red and white, mistletoe, and elves - but these are not my elves, my elves have bows and swords not tack hammers. But alas the illusion is almost complete that in someway this time of year is differnt than another time of year marked not by the season but instead by mystical transformation - perhaps it is not snow but a form of prosiac that falls making us somehow feel at peace and having goodwill toward to men - but not orcs.
I hope to live in someway viacariously through others because my life is so busy and muddled but you GO and get together, light a fire, roll some dice, drink an ale, and play.
Afterall, Other than Christmas time when else can we take a brief time to make believe .
