Hello again! It’s been a busy start to the year already! I’m now engaged in writing the first draft of a new Jack Ravenwild novel, and I’m trying to reestablish the work habits that let me find a few thousand words a week in my evenings and weekends. So far, so good: I just finished Chapter 2 last night. Good football games over the last few weeks haven’t been helping much! Anyway, I thought I’d take a few minutes and share a few more of the cool or interesting things I’m involved with that are coming up. So here goes: Gamma World: Legion of Gold I just received my office copy of the Legion of Gold expansion pack, and I’m very happy with it. Greetings! I’m back from GenCon, and as always, it was a fun and exciting show. I wound up talking with various gaming media outlets several times during the show, so keep your eyes peeled—you can probably find me talking about Dark Sun or Gamma World in various podcasts and interviews around the Internet. The Dark Sun launch seemed to go very well, and people raved about the new books to me on numerous occasions (always a relief, you hope you haven’t screwed it up!) I saw a lot of interesting boardgames and a couple of RPGs caught my eye, but I was very conservative in my spending this year. I liked what I saw of the new Civilzation by Fantasy Flight, but I think I’m holding out for the upcoming Civ 5 release in a few weeks for my Civilization fix. I also had a great chance to ...

Hey, I’m back from D&D XP! The weather was bitterly cold in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but it was a fun convention, especially since I could finally start to talk about a couple of projects that have consumed my life since April of last year – Dark Sun and Gamma World. I’ve been touching on Dark Sun off and on for months now, skirting around a number of things we weren’t ready to reveal yet. By now many of you have seen info from the character sheets used in the Dark Sun preview adventure, and I’m sure you have a lot of questions about character themes.
