I started out as a freelancer for White Wolf. You can see a lot of my work in the tail-end of Exalted's first first edition and throughout the first chunk of second edition. My pride is the work I did on the second edition Lunar Exalted book. I'm scattered through the new World of Darkness, Mage, Werewolf, with a hint of Changeling and a healthy dash of Scion.
Wizards hired me without ever having seen me work on D&D and put me in a developer slot. It was an exciting change - I went from a mix of creative writing and rules design to full-time, non-stop D&D rules mechanics. Constant tinkering, within available parameters, anyway.
I've been buried in the rules long enough, and it's time for me to start creating anew again. I have all these li'l ideas and no time to let them grow. Who knows what one of them might grow into? I don't, and that's why I need to go see.
This is my last day at Wizards of the Coast. I've enjoyed writing this blog and I don't think I'll stop. I plan to keep on writing random thoughts for the D&D group, and I'll probably show up in Dragon and Dungeon after a while. I've the creative bug, and I can take every outlet I can get.
Thanks for reading, folks.
