This past Sunday, I was exhausted. I practically fell asleep while waiting for some of the players to show up. Before leaving the house, I fell asleep on my cat. I was smart enough to bring some board games with me once I realized chances were I wouldn't get energy up to actually run the game.
Of the three I brought, the players chose Robo Rally, so we explained the rules to those who hadn't played and got started. People were working their way through drinks as they normally do at games, within their limits, but we posited the Robo Rally drinking game:
- When your robot takes damage, take a sip.
- When your robot is destroyed, take a shot.
That's it. They quickly laughed down my "when your robot takes damage, take a shot" idea as effectively murder or suicide, and they're right. So don't do that one.
Remember, kids! Play Robo Rally responsibly!
