This week we have added a quick reply button for responding inline to individual posts.

Next up: Some changes to the post view, and we start work on card hover preview for Autocard links.

Today we launched the return of the mana cost tags and . Now, in addition to posting mana symbols as individual smileys, you can use the manacost tag around a block of symbols to display the mana cost as images. Use parentheses to distinguish hybrid symbols. Please report bugs in the BBCodes bugs thread.

This week's updates are:

• Sub-forum list view: style updates, and forums listed on individual lines
• "Reply" screen update: Last 10 posts now appear above the reply box on the reply screen
• Left Nav update: Forum preferences and subscriptions are now accessible from the left-nav menu (under "Profile" for now)
• Subscriptions module: A new module for forum thread subscriptions is being added to your home page, below the friend activity module

Today we have the custom smileys in the WYSIWYG menu. Click the second smiley in the menu to see them.

We've had a couple of delays with the fix to the sub-forum list view. With the holidays approaching, we plan to test and roll this out the week of December 28th.

Next up:
There are several updates in the queue, including more improvements to thread view.

We have started to add some of the BBCode from the old forums. This week we have: 

• Smileys – see list here: community.wizards.com/communityhq/blog/2... 

• Card and Deck tags – we have added , , and some of the [deck] tags. We haven’t caught every variation of deck tag yet – please post bugs and feedback to the BBCode bugs thread.

• Old thread and post tags - We are now translating the *old*[thread=XXX] and [post=XXX] tags. These were added to fix the broken shortcuts in the old posts, from before the migration. They won’t work for new posts, because they are using the old forums URL format.

This week we have a couple of small updates available:

• Forum jump menu: A forum jump menu has been added to the top and bottom of the forums to allow faster navigation to other forums
• Thread pagination: Thread pagination is now available on the thread list view for long threads, letting you quickly jump a few pages ahead, or to the last few pages of a thread.

 Next up:

• BBcode support: We are working on some of the simple formatting BBcodes, as well as the bigger autocard and sblock codes. These will start rolling out next week.
• Video upload: We will turn on video upload for all users. As a reminder, you must own the rights to any content you upload to this site.

How's that for an obscure title?

We're happy to let you all know, if you haven't already noticed, that the auto-double spacing in the forums upon hitting return/enter has been changed to make a single-space instead.

More feature enhancements are on the way so stay tuned.

We are please to announce that the previously promised BBCode support will start rolling out in about 2 weeks. Three cheers for autocard and sblock.

We are pleased to announce that we are working on a set of feature upgrades for the Wizards Community. I'm sure you want to know what they are, so I'll jump right in:

BBCode support in the forums, including:

• Autocard
• Sblock
• Smiley and Mana Symbols
• Additional BBCodes

Enhanced forum usability:

• Better subforum views
• Better forum post layout
• Removing auto-double space in forums
• Better forum reply features, including Quick Reply
• Forum subscription module
• RSS feed for forums

This list is not exhaustive. There are other small items and a few that aren't ready to be announced. In the meantime, we continue to work through existing bugs and take your feature requests. These enhancements do not have a set timeline yet, but expect them to start rolling out soon.
