HALF-ELVES

The Gypsies of the land. They are perceived by the close-minded as spies or half-breeds. Yet it is possible for a half-elf to rise to power in human lands, so long as their humanity is stressed. With the elves it is much the same: they are not privy to the most secret lore that the elves hold, but they are accepted as part of society, should they choose to renounce their human heritage. Half-Elves that choose to do neither tend to congregate in roaming bands, providing entertainment and supplies to towns and villages. In addition using their natural charm, Half Elves make excellent salesmen and negotiators. They will often have long caravans that travel the country side, selling wares from one race to the other, in addition to providing entertainment and spreading the latest gossip.
