Sorcerer Handbook![]() Welcome to Sorcerer club. You’ll notice a couple things are different from what you may be used to. First, this isn’t some namby-pamby Arcane Institute of Higher Learning. We aren’t going to bore you with lectures and studies. If you can’t tap into the arcane energy, however you chose to do it, we aren’t going to help. What we will do is provide you with the space, and the means, to practice tearing holes in reality. Good luck. And watch out for your fellow Sorcerers- they’re learning too. This Handbook will use the following system for ratings: Red - A nonchoice: must-not-have. Don’t ever take this useless option. It sucks, or your build cant make it work. Purple - Poor. Avoid this less useful choice. It is feeble, only good in rare situations, or only becomes good after too much opportunity cost. Any option whose actual usage seems less often than once per day, is 'too situational'. Black - Mediocre. A somewhat useful choice. This is the baseline. Not bad, but there are easily better options. (Often called 'Black', the Gray color helps distinguish the valuation code from the normal text that is also black.) Blue – Good. A useful choice. A good investment for your build. Few options are better. Sky Blue – Excellent. An unusually useful choice. It seems better than comparable options that other characters might get. You need whatever this is. The only reason you might pass it up is your playstyle prefers a different option that is equally excellent. Gold – A nonchoice: must-have. Take this. It is far beyond any other choice, and every build should have it.
