This is an alphabetical list of major and minor non-player characters in the "Iomandra and the Dragon Sea" campaign.

Aiven Niri (female eladrin): Reclusive, good-natured wizard who lives outside of Tyrak'n.

Akara (male goliath): A member of the Karu'uliak tribe, now a Jhal Shard thrall working for Wolvar Markolak in Io'galaroth.

Alathar Balefrost (male human lich): A powerful servant of Vecna in Io’galaroth.

Alethia (female eladrin): Andraste's aunt. She has connections to the Knights of Ardyn and was imprisoned in Zardkarath for treason.

Algar Feck (male human): Crab catcher in Tyrak’n.

Alyce Lhandros (female human): Captain of the squidship Siren's Kiss (under the flag of the Nerathi Consortium). Her ship frequents Io'galaroth, as she trades in wood and blacksash.

Alyson Rivers (female halfling): Priestess of Avandra in Tyrak'n.

Arando Corynnar (male human): A Knight of Ardyn imprisoned in Zardkarath, and nephew of Baron Mariekus Corynnar of Grekkenhar.

Ardyn (female elder silver dragon): Titular leader of the Knights of Ardyn, a group dedicated to removing the corrupt Dragovar empire from power.

Arjin Virastro (male human): Captain of the galleon Heartless (under the flag of Sea King Kalas), and an exceptional Three-Dragon Ante player. He has his own custom deck and likes to challenge other captains to a game.

Arkhalia Kelx (female dragonborn): Member of the noble caste in Io’galaroth and a suspected Myrthon sympathizer. She is also the primary suspect in the unsolved murder of General Ryzad Kelx, her husband, who died in 1466 DY.

Arkyn Tavor (male dwarf): Member of the Deeplantern Guild and master of his own expedition. He seeks the treasures of Harth Fantaro, a sunken citadel built by humans and dwarves long ago.

Armagan (male dragonborn): Dragovar general stationed at Tejad'n, on the island of Zonjar.

Arradas Arzantyr (male dragonborn lich): Leader of the Jhal Shard in Io'galaroth.

Arromar Sunshadow (male elf): Member of the Deeplantern Guild and captain of the galleon Meridian. Brother of Elgoth Sunshadow.

Augustus Sahandrian (male human): Captain of the galleon Sahandrian's Quarrel (under the flag of Sea King Kalas).

Aurizon (male dragonborn): A colonel within the Myrthon Regency who tries to save the regency and the empire from the threat of Starlord Evendor and his illithid allies.

Avamir Irongull (male dwarf): Captain of the squidship Mistreaver (under the flag of Sea King Senestrago).

Azunkhan IX (male dragonborn): Emperor of the Dragovar empire, cursed with the spirit of an adventurer. a.k.a. Azunkhan the Seeker.

Barrakuda Swyft (male half-elf): A morbidly obese man who serves as Sea King Senestrago's eyes and ears in Io'galaroth.

Belakaleb (male dwarf): A member of the Hourglass Society.

Carydion (male elf): Winterleaf Coster spy in Tyrak’n.

Castanamir (male elder gold dragon): Island lord. He walks the streets of Io'galaroth in humanoid guises, including that of a straw-haired halfling named Whim.

Clef Wimbly (male gnome): Well-known information broker in Io’galaroth.

Cyrik von Zarkyn (male human): Magistrate of Kheth and husband of Thariel von Zarkyn.

Dalkon Ratley (male human): Town guard in Tyrak’n.

Delavaestra Windtide (female elf): Owner of Eldritch Armaments, a workshop in Io'galaroth that sells arcane siege weapons designed for ships.

Denarion Morrow (male half-elf): Captain of the Morrow's Folly.

Dharz Khevvir (male dragonborn): High priest of the Temple of Tiamat in Io'galaroth.

Dolmen and Krag Borka (male dwarves): Brothers living in Io'galaroth, and secret partners of Clef Wimbly with ties to the Golden Shield and the Jhal Shard.

Dorethau Vadu (female tiefling): Leader of the Horned Alliance in Io'calioth. A vicious and calculating old woman, she eats cooked dragonborn babies.

Dvatharandar (male dragonborn): First mate of the Wavecarver.

Dyzan (male dragonborn): Inquisitor in the Temple of Bahamut in Io'galaroth.

Eamon Gale (male halfling): A wizard and aspiring ship captain who pursues a bounty placed on the heads of the player characters by Sea King Senestrago.

Eandro Varzand (male half-elf): Captain of the starbarge Storm Maven (under the flag of Sea King Valkroi).

Egen Wanderfar (male halfling): Member of the Deeplantern Guild, and part of Arkyn Tavor's expedition to plunder Harth Fantaro. Brother of Emily Wanderfar.

Eightson Bilger (male human): A wanted criminal who finds his way to Tyrak'n. The other members of his "gang" include Sharkface, Shin Tao, and Zorag. Eightson has seven older brothers, including Sevenson Bilger.

Ekharin (male dragonborn): High priest of the Temple of Bahamut in Io'galaroth.

Elgoth Sunshadow (male elf): Captain of the squidship Black Trident (under the flag of Sea King Kalas). Brother of Arromar Sunshadow.

Elidyr Xandros VI (male human): The Baron of Baelcrest, and father of Nemencia Xandros.

Elythea von Aress (female human): The Baron of Hullroost.

Emily Wanderfar (female halfling): Member of the Deeplantern Guild, and part of Arkyn Tavor's expedition to plunder Harth Fantaro. Sister to Egen Wanderfar.

Enif Mizviir (male tiefling): Cowardly blacksash dealer in Io'galaroth, with connections to the Horned Alliance.

Erak (male hobgoblin): Sanghor captain with a chimera mount. Erak is one of Wyrmlord haxar Zasha's lieutenants.

Ernest Shallowpool (male halfling): Confidante of Dorethau Vadu, the tiefling crime lord who runs the Horned Alliance.

Eseleth (male yuan-ti ghost): Exiled yuan-ti prince of the Syakanthar dynasty.

Eve (female human): A member of the Hourglass Society.

Excellence (female tiefling): Clever and seductive minx who can extricate herself out of any dilemma. Excellence seems to have an answer for everything, and she claims to have been romantically involved with Sea Kings Senestrago and Valkroi, as well as crime lord Zaibon Krinvazh.

Faerdan (male elf): A former member of the Winterleaf Coster who now works as an assassin for the Shan Qabal. He has a detachable insectoid arm to replace his missing right arm.

Fayal Taviq (male dragonborn): Magistrate of Castanamir. He lives in Io'galaroth.

Fenem (female human): One of four elemental cult leaders in the Hall of Araksaradan on Vorkon. She can assume the form of a powerful fire elemental at will. See also: Krosin, Tarashi, Voniver.

Fenton Cuttlescar (male human): Resident of Tyrak’n and lousy Three-Dragon Ante player.

Ferel (male undead elf): Bodyguard of Vantra Tolus and captain of her troops.

Filif (male human): An 8-year-old boy and member of the Hourglass Society.

Francesca Corynnar (female human): Niece of Baron Mariekus Corynnar of Grekkenharm and the sister of a famous Knight of Ardyn named Arando Corynnar.

Gar (male half-elf): A harpoon-wielding mercenary working for Eamon Gale.

Gareth Narborel (male undead human): Captain of the ghost ship Banshee.

Gargathûl (female fomorian): A witch and former advisor to King Thrumbold of the fomorians. A devout worshiper of Gruumsh, she tore out her eye in supplication and replaced it with a dragon orb. She dwells in exile in Tyr-Caliosa, the Sylvan Spire.

Gavin Rhelios (male human): First mate of the Rusty Hook.

Gharthus Nalak (male dragonborn): Member of the expert caste, master of the Io’galaroth Shipwrights’ Guild, and Myrthon sympathizer.

Ghordan Raiko (male human): Captain of the hammership Lantheon (under the flag of Sea King Valkroi). He has a great fondness for Impstinger Ale.

Gorloth (male human): A member of the Jhal Shard in Io'galaroth, and Arradas Arzantyr's apprentice.

Grand Vizier Turazad (male dragonborn): The grand vizier who ordered the Shan Qabal to initiate and then terminate the Wyrmworn Experiment.

Gylbert Dranko (male human): Black marketeer in Io’galaroth with sinister connections to the local kraken cult.

Gylda Garamor (female dwarf): Member of the Deeplantern Guild, weapon specialist, and part of Arkyn Tavor's expedition to plunder Harth Fantaro.

Hagar Umbermoor (male human): Greedy owner of the Umbermoor Oyster Shuckery in Io'galaroth, and a font of useful information and rumors.

Hahrzan (male dragonborn): High-ranking member of the Shan Qabal. The victim of a magical experiment gone awry, he wears a goggled mask, an armored leather body suit, and a backpack that generates an admixture of toxic gases that he must inhale to survive.

Halzar Evermead (male dwarf): Captain of the deathglory Hammergust (under the flag of Sea King Kalas).

Harris Oakenbow (male human): Exiled Nerathi noble and friend to Magistrate Fayal Taviq of Io’galaroth, he is suspected of having Myrthon sympathies.

Haxar Zasha (male hobgoblin): A wyrmlord of Sanghor.

Heogh (male cyclops): Loyal henchman of Gargathûl.

Heron Tricker (male halfling): Former first mate of the hammership Morkoth.

Imazhia (female dragonborn): Former high priestess of the Temple of Bahamut in Io'galaroth, she was replaced by Ekharin. She receives prophetic visions.

Incerion (male tiefling): Mercenary-for-hire. he had a "fling" with Excellence.

Iojad (male dragonborn): Member of the Shan Qabal and master of the elemental foundry on Zonjar.

Iokholar (male dragonborn): Knight of Ardyn hiding out in Io'galaroth.

Irindol (male adult copper dragon): Exiled dragon lord. He is often accompanied by one or more young copper dragon protégés.

Istiria Sirothien (female eladrin): Governor of Irthos, a sunken eladrin city near the island of Tyras.

Irzakazri (female dwarf): A member of the Hourglass Society.

Jaharadan (male firbolg): King of the firbolgs. He has two lazy daughters, Varsha and Molnir.

Jarak Gragnar (male dwarf): Captain of the deathglory Jarak's Grasp (under the flag of his brother, Sea King Eelbeard).

Javahn (male dragonborn): A member of the Shan Qabal on Tetherus.

Jegger Trout (male halfling): Captain of the Guard in Tyrak'n.

Jerek von Ezengart (male human): The Baron of Vhessek.

Jhakala (female dragonborn): Proprietor of the Choral Drum tavern in Io'galaroth.

Jhoryston (male young copper dragon): Protégé of Irindol.

Johias Ilum (male human): Fisherman and drunk in Tyrak'n with connections to the Knights of Ardyn.

Kalaryste (female human): A member of the Shan Qabal on Tetherus.

Kalavai (female dragonborn): Sister of Emperor Azunkhan IX and Holy Regent of the Dragovar Empire in his absence.

Kamal (male dragonborn): The highest-ranking general in the Dragovar martial caste, and supreme commander of the Emperor's army and navy.

Kandor Thundereye (male human): Wizard working for Vizier Sartakh Arlore to seek out Myrthon sympathizers within the arcane caste. Kandor is one of the orphans of the Tempest, a ship transporting children who were subjects of a Shan Qabal experiment. He is implanted with the spirit of a dead dragon-sorcerer named Skaravostrym.

Karel Vejek (male half-elf): Captain of the squidship Sarvalan (under the flag of the Nerathi Consortium). He had a secret love affair with Baron Sathima Shadowgray of Whitestag.

Karsian Tolus (male undead elf): A follower of Vecna, one of Kytherion Shadowhorn's lieutenants on the island of Kheth, and brother of Vantra Tolus.

Kelestra Starfeon (female eladrin): Captain of the tradesman Jewel of Irthos (under the flag of Sea King Mithralstar).

Kharl Mystrum III (male human): The Baron of Ravan.

Kharl Mystrum IV (male human): Son of Baron Kharl Mystrum III of Ravan, and partner of Nemencia Xandros of Baelcrest.

Khasij Drakora (male dragovar): Captain of the Dragovar warship Savaanji.

Khax (male dragonborn): Magistrate of Emerlas.

Khazahk (male dragonborn): A member of the Hourglass Society and the architect of the time prison in Io'calioth.

Kheth (male adult green dragon): Island lord. He seized his island from the copper dragon Irindol.

Khisanth (male eladrin): Apprentice to Thimizere. He betrays his master and forms an alliance with the servants of Starlord Evendor in exchange for power.

Khygar (male dragonborn): A Dragovar colonel and the leader of a fearsome military police force within Io'calioth known as "Khygar's Brood."

Kinfeng (oni mage): A Jhal Shard thrall loyal to Arradas Arzantyr.

Kreytzen Garzhak (male dragonborn): Member of the noble caste who arrives on Kheth to hunt the Golden Boar.

Kringa (female shifter): A Jhal Shard thrall loyal to Arradas Arzantyr. Before she was enslaved, she was a thief who worshiped Sehanine.

Krosin (male human): One of four elemental cult leaders in the Hall of Araksaradan on Vorkon. He can assume the form of a powerful earth elemental at will. See also: Fenem, Tarashi, Voniver.

Kr'rovash (male orc): Chieftain of the Firespear tribe on Vorkon.

Kvandaloss (male adult silver dragon): Myrthon symapthizer hiding in Io’galaroth. Known to his acquaintances as “Kvan,” he typically assumes the form of a silver-scaled dragonborn.

Kytherion Shadowhorn (male tiefling): Leader of the Vecna cultist on Kheth, in charge of rebuilding and reactivating the Black Pyramid. He forms an alliance with the Winterleaf Coster, which provides supplies and added security.

Kzandro Kaazinar (male tiefling): A blind tiefling card shark and spy who uses a robe of eyes to see.

Lavant (male human werewolf): Powerful werewolf lord. The eladrin nobility of Astrazalian has placed a very large bounty on his head.

Lelyrian (male eladrin): Loyal aide to Zaquivir Maldranthe in Astrazalian.

Lenkhor Krige (male dragonborn): Venerable leader of the Shan Qabal in Io'calioth, and political rival to Grand Vizier Turazad.

Lorak Summergale (male elf): Captain of the Dryad's Fury, a Winterleaf Coster galleon.

Lucien Vezetus (male tiefling): Jolly proprietor of the Talisman (a caravel-turned-tavern in Tyrak'n) and brewer of Impstinger Ale.

Lurinok (male adult black dragon): Lurks in the venomite mines under Serpent Hill, on the island of Kheth, along with a brood of black dragon wyrmlings.

Lydia Taralan (female human): Captain of the galleon Wavecarver (under the flag of Sea King Senestrago). She also commands an iron shark golem.

Lyfalia (female human werewolf): A denizen of the Feywild who was captured by goblin raiders of Sanghor. Her pack fled to the Feywild three generations ago.

Madchen Danik (female human): Wizard and bosun aboard the Rusty Hook.

Magnar Grayshard (male dwarf): Dimwitted son of Szoltan and Voruna Grayshard in Tyrak'n.

Malfier (male human): A Vecna-worshiper who insinuated himself into Io’galaroth’s Kraken Cult to gather information about its activities. Malfier secretly reports to Alathar Balefrost.

Maliq du Mavian (?): A powerful underworld figure in Anchordown, better known to his associates as "Black Maliq."

Mariekus Corynnar (male human): The fat Baron of Grekkenhar.

Marwyth Corynnar (female human vampire): Wife of Raston Corynnar. Although she appears to be in her mid-thirties, she's the aunt of Baron Mariekus Corynnar of Grekkenhar.

Mielah Strong (male human): Captain of the Skandalor (an independent tradeship). He keeps a gray wolf pet.

Morgan Krom (male human): Former captain of the galleon Tempest (under the flag of Sea King Mithralstar). He is murdered and supplanted by his first mate, Syken Trelenus.

Morian and Tevior Sell (male half-elf twins): Owners of an alchemy shop and members of a kraken cult in Io’galaroth.

Murrg (female orc): Blind castellan of a Firespear stronghold on Vorkon. She wears a necklace of manticore spikes and has a manticore companion.

Naerean (male half-elf): A member of the Hourglass Society in Anchordown.

Narthan Felzaer (male half-elf): Former first mate of the Wavecarver, now unemployed in Io'galaroth. He is determined to get back into Captain Lydia Taralan's good graces.

Nazir (male dragonborn): Evil priest of Tiamat.

Nedam (male dragonborn): Priest of Bahamut working at the elemental foundry on Zonjar.

Nemencia Xandros (female human): Daughter of Baron Elidyr Xandros VI of Baelcrest, and lover of Kharl Mystrum IV of Ravan.

Nensis (male tiefling): Low-ranking member of the Horned Alliance in Io’galaroth.

Nevek (male dragonborn): Captain of the dragonship Kral-Tajir (under the flag of Sea King Firerazor).

Nevester Mirvan (male halfling): Member of the Deeplantern Guild and captain of the tradesman Good Fortune.

Nilus Coldshore (male human): Fisherman in Tyrak’n.

Nycea Stormbane (female human): Captain of the tradesman Crystal Ball (under the flag of Sea King Mithralstar).

Nyrrska (male dragonborn): Formerly an assassin of the Kurik-Othzar (associated with the Temple of Tiamat), now an acolyte in the Temple of Bahamut in Io'galaroth. He has a wicked scar across his throat, given to him by the dragonborn pirate Vantajar.

Orisiro (male elder mercury dragon): Orisiro is the leader of the Hourglass Society, a small organization devoted to the study of chronomancy, or "time magic."

Orson Jaro (male half-elf): Member of the Deeplantern Guild, navigator, and part of Arkyn Tavor's expedition to plunder the sunken citadel of Harth Fantaro.

Orson Stormchapel (male human): Former captain of the hammership Morkoth, now deceased.

Pharan Lamoth (male human): A powerful servant of Vecna. He rides a skeletal horse.

Prak (male dragonborn): A corrupt captain in the Io'galaroth City Watch.

Prismeus (male tiefling): Second-in-command of the Horned Alliance in Io’galaroth and trusted lieutenant of Zaibon Krinvazh. Prismeus’s face was scarred by acid during an interrogation conducted by Dragovar guards while he was imprisoned in Zardkarath.

Quarrel Oarbriker (male halfling): Bosun of the Wavecarver.

Ramiel (male elf): Demon-possessed elf who comes to Kheth in search of a dragon orb for the Magistrate of Rasalas. He can open portals to the Feywild seemingly on a whim.

Raston Corynnar (male human vampire): Husband of Marwyth Corynnar. Although he appears to be in his mid-thirties, he's the uncle of Baron Mariekus Corynnar of Grekkenhar and a fierce protector of the Corynnar legacy.

Ravaran (male dragonborn): Prisoner in the elemental foundry on Zonjar.

Remora (female half-elf wereshark): First mate of the Dryad's Fury, a Winterleaf Coster galleon.

Rosalyn Stavenger (female human): Fisherman’s niece in Tyrak’n. She has a "thing" for adventurers.

Rune (male stone giant): The mysterious "Ghost Giant" of Kheth.

Rhutha (female dragonborn): A high-ranking general in the Dragovar martial caste. She has forged a staunch alliance with Supreme General Kamal.

Sabretha Blackwater (female tiefling): Former proprietor of the Blackwater Inn on the island of Castanamir, and member of a kraken cult in Io’galaroth.

Saelthas (male elf): A mercenary hired by Francesca Corynnar.

Samantia Carnago (female tiefling): Deceased archwizard of Bael Turath renowned for her many wondrous magical creations.

Sathima Shadowgray (female human): The Baron of Whitestag.

Sea King Deepstaff (male human): The self-proclaimed “wizard of the waves,” Sea King Deepstaff has arguably the fastest fleet on the high seas. His flagship isn’t a ship at all, but a floating tower that skims across the surface of the Dragon Sea. a.k.a. Rhone Orlak.

Sea King Eelbeard (male dwarf): A disgustingly fat, foul-mouthed dwarf with few redeeming qualities other than his appreciation for expensive ale. He’s one of the few Sea Kings who seems at all eager to do business with the Dragovar. a.k.a. Dargus Gragnar.

Sea King Firerazor (male dragonborn): A charismatic dragonborn exile who fights honorably and proudly, Firerazor has no love for the Dragovar dynasty. His flagship, the Inferno, is considered the most heavily armed and armored ship on the Dragon Sea, capable of sinking entire armadas by itself.

Sea King Kalas (female human): Known as the Black Wren, Kalas is good to the captains that serve her loyally and positively vicious to those who cross her. a.k.a. Lorelei Kalas.

Sea King Malios (male human): The last Sea King to hold the legendary blade Fathomreaver. Malios, his flagship (the Storm Goddess), and the sword were lost at the Battle of the Roiling Cauldron in 1455 DY. a.k.a. Draeken Malios.

Sea King Mithralstar (male dwarf): An intrepid, swashbuckling dwarf with expensive tastes and vast troves of hidden wealth, Mithralstar carries a magic horn that summons a terrible sea dragon when blown. a.k.a. Verdigris Mithralstar.

Sea King Senestrago (male human): Sea King Valkroi’s ambitious rival and former shipmate, now a Sea King with one of the largest fleets on the Dragon Sea. a.k.a. Evan Senestrago.

Sea King Trystoval (male half-elf): Rivals claim to have killed this Sea King in battle, yet he lives. With every “death,” he seems to gain more power and influence. a.k.a. Xelior Trystoval.

Sea King Valkroi (male human): A fair but brutal Sea King endorsed by the Thunder Lords, Valkroi claims to have sailed his flagship to the Elemental Chaos and back. a.k.a. Mykel Valkroi.

Sea King Zekh'r (male githyanki): Zekh’r is a vicious pirate with the uncanny gift of second sight. Many other Sea Kings consider him the bane of their existence, but he always seems to get the better of them. Sea King Mithralstar has an standing bounty on Zekh’r’s head that increases with each passing month. a.k.a. Ediv Zekh'r.

Senjin Argonas (male half-elf): Wanted by the Dragovar authorities for the theft and sale of Arkhosian artifacts.

Serusa (female dragonborn): A member of the Shan Qabal assigned to track down orphans who were part of a secret government experiment.

Sevenson Bilger (male human): First mate of the Tempest. He has a younger brother named Eightson Bilger and six older brothers.

Seylas Autumnloft (male elf): A sage in Io'galaroth who knows a great deal about the eladrin realm of Cendriane.

Shaido (oni mage): A Jhal Shard thrall loyal to Arradas Arzantyr.

Shantine (female human vampire): A former cleric of Pelor, she controls a secret warehouse in Io'galaroth used by Sea King Senestrago and his captains.

Sharkface (male dragonborn): A wanted criminal who finds his way to Tyrak'n and falls in with Eightson Bilger.

Shavaar Zhythanon (male dragonborn): Member of the noble caste in Io’galaroth, suspected of having Myrthon sympathies as well as connections to the local kraken cult.

Shedir (female dragonborn): Apprentice to Zaurak Skydark, and a low-ranking member of the kraken cult in Io'galaroth.

Shin Tao (male human): A wanted criminal who finds his way to Tyrak'n and falls in with Eightson Bilger.

Silvor Trace (male human): Captain of the Nemencia, flagship of the Barony of Baelcrest.

Sirizan Inzul (male dragonborn): Member of the noble caste in Io'galaroth.

Skaravostrym (ancient red dragon): A mighty dragon-sorcerer that exists as a spirit bound within a human mage named Kandor Thundereye.

Sly-Bite (male quickling): Evil little servant of Gargathûl.

Solonghast (male adult black dragon): A seafaring dragon that plies the Dragon Sea in a barge called Nethergloom.

Starlord Evendor (male eladrin): A mysterious figure that has taken over the Myrthon Regency and seeks to rebuild an ancient Cendriane observatory called the Invidion.

Steven Blacksword (male human): The Baron of Clovencrag.

Stray (male tiefling): Up-and-coming member of the Horned Alliance in Io’galaroth. He wields a flaming boomerang.

Suffer (male tiefling): Horned Alliance nosebreaker in Io’galaroth.

Sunan (male dragonborn): Captain of the hammership Kara-Vaji (under the flag of Sea King Firerazor).

Syken Trelenus (male tiefling): Captain of the galleon Tempest (under the flag of Sea King Deepstaff). He murdered the Tempest's previous captain, Morgan Krom, to gain command of the ship.

Szoltan Grayshard (male dwarf): Crusty stonemason in Tyrak'n. Husband of Voruna Grayshard and father of Magnar Grayshard.

Taazhon (male dragonborn): First mate of the Dragovar warship Javanvashir.

Valkon Garmûl (male dwarf): Disenfranchised member of the Golden Shield turned defector and informant for the Horned Alliance. The Horned Alliance keeps him in a secret safehouse in Io'galaroth.

Valzan Ambershard (male dwarf): Master of the Golden Shield thieves’ guild in Io’galaroth, and a local legend among dwarves. Valzan Ambershard used to be a Sea King, but he dismantled his fleet to settle in Io’galaroth in 1458. He has strong ties to the Jhal Shard.

Vantajar (male dragonborn): Notorious pirate lord imprisoned in Zardkarath until Zarenshar 1475, when the Temple of Tiamat pays Mheletros (the prison's adamantine dragon overlord) an exorbitant bribe to release him.

Vantra Tolus (female undead elf): A follower of Vecna, one of Kytherion Shadowhorn's lieutenants on the island of Kheth, and sister of Karsian Tolus. She has an undead black dragon "pet" named Khuras.

Varsha and Molnir (female firbolgs): Daughters of King Jaharadan of the firbolgs.

Vazel Maldranthe (female eladrin): Myrthon sympathizer in Io’galaroth, and an agent working for Starlord Evendor.

Vellen Danamark (male half-elf): Security master of a secret Senestrago warehouse in Io'galaroth. He wears a golden gauntlet that allows him to control the warehouse's golems.

Venefiq (lamia queen): Ancient lamia imprisoned by the eladrin thanes of Cendriane in a magically sealed sarcophagus crafted by the tiefling archwizard Samantia Carnago.

Vigmund (male human): First mate of the squidship Siren's Kiss.

Vincent van Hyden (male human): Chief representative of the Nerathi Consortium in Io'calioth.

Vizier Nharrek (male dragonborn): Vizier who comes to Io'galaroth to root out Myrthon sympathizers.

Vizier Sartakh Arlore (male dragonborn): Vizier in Io'calioth.

Vizier Tenahn (male dragonborn): Vizier in Io'calioth possessed by the ghost of Eseleth, an exiled yuan-ti prince of the Syakanthar dynasty.

Xan Arahaji (female windsoul genasi): Tempestuous warlord exiled from Quelenon (a genasi city near the Eye of Io). She has forged an alliance with Sea King Senestrago.

Xathk (mind flayer): Leader of the kraken cult in Io’galaroth.

Yorgen Krell (male human): The Baron of Marckwild.

Zahkijin (male dragonborn): Captain of the Dragovar warship Javanvashir. He has a private hoard stashed in his residence in Io'galaroth.

Zaibon Krinvazh (male tiefling): Leader of the Horned Alliance thieves’ guild in Io’galaroth, and one of the most powerful underworld figures in the Dragovar empire. Zaibon is known for trading in favors and collecting the flensed bones of his enemies. He commands his guild from the Hellstrike, a fortified ship permanently berthed in the Golden Shark Grotto. Remarkably strong for a tiefling, Zaibon prefers to kill with his bare hands.

Zaidi Arychosa (female tiefling): Legendary aria soprano from Io’calioth with suspected ties to the Horned Alliance in Io’galaroth. She plies the Dragon Sea aboard her luxury octopus ship, the Turathi Flame.

Zandra Miralko (female half-elf): A Nerathi Consortium double-agent in Io'calioth who is secretly working for a Winterleaf Coster.

Zaquivir Maldranthe (male eladrin): Astrazalian noble with considerable influence in the Summer Court.

Zaurak Skydark (male dwarf): Owner of Skydark's Astrolabes and Starcharts, a shop in Io'galaroth.

Zirko Axaran (male dwarf): A self-proclaimed "traveler of worlds" residing in Anchordown. He hails from a place called "Greyhawk."

Zorag (male dwarf): A wanted criminal and deranged pyromaniac who finds his way to Tyrak'n and falls in with Eightson Bilger.
