So here's the outline of how much time I think your next story arc could take... - your conversation with Lorenzo was towards the end of May - so the 'clock' starts in June - Gien won't be back until the middle of September at the earliest - so I figure you've got 3 months to do 'the job' - and if all goes well, you can surprise Gien when he returns with at least the beginnings of his church building - how's the shape of that work for you?
So I figure, you should break down your overall plan into 3 larger steps: June, July, August (all stories work best in 3s after all)
Depending on what your plans are, we can collaborate on some appropriate skills required and difficulty levels. Then when we get together next Thursday, we'll have the outline and we can roll some dice to see how it all turns out.
Sound good? Thoughts? Feedback?

Hey -- are you guys being good about giving some kind of kick-back to Ranald?
An actual Priest of Ranald would give 'one coin in ten' -- though I expect that laypeople aren't quite as dedicated.
I know that Max and Bohri aren't really 'religious' individuals... but some people follow various gods' strictures out of superstition (i.e. an offering to Manaan before a boat trip), and some do so 'cause it's just smart business (paying dues so that you don't attract undue attention from the priesthood)
Just wondering how it is that you've 'dealt with' this particular facet of things.

Answering the easy question first. We'll definitely be "good" about giving the kick-back to Ranald. Not one in ten for sure, but something appropriate. We want to send the message that we are a "legitmate" crime syndicate. As far as Eladio goes, I believe the plan is to set Eladio up to a bribed watch captain so that he's caught smuggling "mutants", or something equally heinous. We'll be lurking to make sure there are no survivors when they are "caught". That would be step 1, anyway.

It occurs to me that it's too bad Gien didn't come back with any warpstone. Talk about "heinous"!!!

No survivors from what side? From Eladio's side or the watch captain? Do try to make "step 3" be the final doom of Eladio (if that's what you're planning) -- otherwise, what are steps 2 and 3 over the next couple months . . . unless you've got something truly elaborate planned. *shrug* Honestly, at this point I really don't know what craziness you are cooking up.

I don't know what you guys have cooking, or how far along you are in your plotting and scheming, but I have one request as you lay out Month 1, Month 2, and Month 3 . . . It's no accident that Aldrich von Lutzen has showed up at the very end of your Month 3 of planning. community.wizards.com/wfrp-seattle/go/th...So of course the most critical time for Max to be doing whatever it is that he's doing for the Eladio/Lorenzo job is going on at the same time as when Aldrich shows up. I mean... right? See where I'm going here? I would've preferred that you had already blocked out your 3 month plan... so that I could more deftly throw a monkey wrench into the middle of it. But the interlude clearly involves some collaborative story-telling, so I hope you find a fun way to make your own character's lives amusingly complicated.
