I was geeking out on the cool cover when the owner of the book came in screaming at me for messing with his stuff. I managed to hit the high and low points of nerd culture on my very first day.
Since then...I spent 2nd Edition buying my own books and building characters without much access to a gaming group. 3rd Edition made me determined to find a group. That led me to the RPGA and Living Greyhawk. Roadtripping all over to hit other regions was great, especially the GrandMarchers in Atlanta, but local gamedays in Nashville were the best.
These days I am a big 4th Ed. and Living Forgotten Realms fan. I help organize the LFRNashville gamedays while I study to become a librarian.
