I have been following a number of threads and people who have been talking about how mechanics in the game make it very easy to have a plot break down. While this is true I believe if you are going to have rigid plot lines the onus is on you, the DM, to make a plot more resilient to the game mechanics. The response to these has been that some tropes become impossible and preperation time becomes more time consuming.
Hello again, I wanted to talk a little bit about what lead me to create the world I use the most when I DM. It is my home brew setting call Steadfast.
I broke my near 15 year fast from tabletop gaming by joining the Encounter Programs for 4e. I really enjoy Encounters and experience lead to me to try my hand at an adventure modules. The experience had mixed results.
