So Finn has had a lot of happen to him since Season 1. He has traveled long and far and has started his retraining as a Mandolorian. He has retrained and taken different levels but not completely forgetting his recent stint as a businessman. He has kept his level of Noble as a badge of remembrance.

He no longer has Gather Information, one I as GM did not want everyone having it and it did not fit the character. In exchange Finn's player Kevin often said things about not having Use Computer and he now does.

Fin used to be a dual wielding pistol man but has switched to a heavier pistol and now focus' on this as his weapon of choice. With double attack, Advantageous attack, rapid shot and point blank shot he has a lot of options for combat. Add in Savage Attack and he is doing a lot of damage. Assured attack makes sure he is not rolling all 1's for his damage rolls.

And because he asked for it he now has his weapons back on his armor. You are welcome Kevin ;)

Episode 6: Transformations Season Finale GM Notes:

Well the Episode started yesterday and finished early this Sunday AM. Gosh I am tired, I was supposed to work this morning but I have been up all night with a lousy stomach ache due to drinking the one soft drink proven cause problems Royal Crown. It's why I am up so early doing this blog when I should be either at work of just sleeping.

Anyway the game went well. I believe I have the group on the right path with some correct course corrections we are headed down the few goals I wanted to see from the beginning. I will make note of these during my recap below.

Most galactic technology can be produced locally, but hyperspace engines, high-speed sublight drives, hypermatter reactors, and HoloNet transmitters are too advanced for local industry.

 

The Nimrod and crew prepair to head to the mysterious planet they were given coordinates for from the leader of Nikarb III. Out of hyperspace arrives an Imperial Shuttle from the Fel Empire. It carries Taloni Naomi who had left the group weeks prior.

She is allowed to land and is wearing Imperial Knight garb and wishes to speak with Zahf about his refusal to return to the Empire and serve Emperor Fel. He tells her about what the droid EHNCEE 17 told him of his mind being altered and he possibly being manipulated by the Empire to serve them. He tells her he found a clone of his brother so he doubts his memories now. If she wants him to come back she will need to disprove the things he has told her.

She brings news that the Sith are using the Holonet to tell of tales of the Nimrod helping the Sith capture worlds that were disloyal to them. This is angering the Mandalore who had called everyone home and Finn is not heading the call. The Sith in turn are threatening the Mandalore that if Finn refuses to return home it could be bad for them.

Showing the Nimrod as a Mando vessel working for the Sith is a slap in the face of the Gallactic Alliance. Finn had been warned to hide his ship but in defiance of all who tell him this he proudly displays his ship wherever they travel.

She leaves giving Zahf one month to decide his fate.

Finn convinces Zahf that she is not being forth coming with all she knows. They set out to prove they are not working for the Sith by assassinating one of the high ranking Moffs in a nearby system. Zahf tells them he is against this plan and will continue on to where they were told they might find info about the Jedi they seek. Finn and Bozs continue on with their plans to bomb the Imperial Garrison even though Bozs worries what the deaths of civilians might mean.

Zahf, Rade and the Taung known as Trooper head to the world Pin Dalas, an Ice World.

Zahf senses a disturbance in the force, death and coldness but not the darkside. He also senses hunger. Inside a cave on a mountain face they discover a well dugout cave system and find keeper droids Some Zoo's use these droids to maintain some of the large and dangerous creatures the galaxy has to offer. The droids are also very dangerous as its near feeding time for what they are keeping and for them a live meal just walked in.

Several Keeper Droids attack Zahf while Rade and Trooper open fire from cover. Zahf takes a beating but delivers some stellar lightsaber blows (Using a destiny point) stops the droids from their true purpose.

They decide to rest even though they discovered these droids and large predatory creature tracks in the icy floor.

Taloni suddenly arrives with two Snowtroopers and offers medical assistance to Zahf. When asked what she was doing there she said she had sensed he would need help and she too also felt the force here and was curious.

They find a safe spot they feel certain about and rest while Bozs from the Nimrod shows up with some support.

While Zahf heads for the disturbance the rest spread out to cover him and Talani inspects the destroyed droid that she identifies as a Keeper and tells them what that could mean.

Naturally a rumbling begins and part of the cave ceiling collapses

Surprise! Its lunch time, he does not care they are in a can, less chance the food is spoiled. Two troopers down, an Imp and Mando.

Quick lightsaber and blaster work puts the Frost Rancor in its place at the cave floor.

They return to the Nimrod where Talani informs Finn that a ship from Mandalorians is due to arrive to confront him and tell him to go home. He insists to head to the target they selected to destroy it and she pleads with him no more loss of life. She tells him he is not acting like a Mandalorian in not heeding the call to return home and that he is choosing when the title of Mandalorian suits him.

She tells him the rest of his crew deserve the right to choose if they will heed the call of the Mandalore and head home. He says they serve him. He is then informed that a ship has come from hyperspace matching the ship description they were told about. Its a Crusader Class and the commander is Finns Father-in-Law and he wants to talk to Finn.

During the conversation Finn is dressed down, his father in law calls him a capitalist first and a mando when the time is right. He tells him its not safe to have his child on the ship with him. Tells Finn that not coming home the Mandalore will name every person with him as a traitor and strip them of the title of Mandalorians. This makes Finn start to listen.

His father-in-law tells him in the days of the galactic civil war the Rebellion did not start in a day and they blew up the Death Star. He said it took decades to build it up. He needs patience, he needs to stop acting out of revenge even though that is their way, the path he has chosen is more of a galactic scale than just about the Mando's.

Finn says if he had too he would return home to take the title of Mandalore to set things right and make his people act instead of sit at home. He is quickly told he is not Mandalore material, and to stop acting like one by having his crew swear loyalty to only him. He warns finn that if he continues down that path he will get the Mandalore after him personally.

After they are done talking Finn speaks to his crew and tells them of his plan too return to Mandalor and they should go with. He plans to scuttle the Nimrod, this makes his crew mad. It is suggested they due what someone in the past once did when they had a Star Destroyer, turn it into the Errant Venture.

They make plans to refit the Nimrod into a new mobile base of operations much like the Errant Venture and begin rebellion style tactics against the Sith Empire.

The last we see if the Nimrod landing on a large planetoid in a star system devoid of life and the rest of the Mando's on the Nimrod flying home. Zahf, Trooper and Rade seek out Boriz to then find the Jedi and give him the holocron they discovered.

Episode 5 We just completed Episode 5 of my Star Wars Legacy Campaign.

Tal Voxx gets a communication from his droid, Ehn-Cee Seventeen that due to an error on his part communcation with the Nimrod was jammed, this caused an additional problem that the Sith Star Destroyer Torment was not detected by the planets defense forces early enough so everyone is surprised that a Star Destroyer entered the system undetected.

The plus side was that the Sith recon team was unable to report about the Kamino clone facility on the planet Nikarb III. Taal warns the Nimrod of the Sith ship and promptly leaves the ship too its fate and meets up with his droid to go and rescue his companions who have no idea they need rescue.

Details of the Sith ship are that it is a new prototype with two powerful laser cannons that use solar planels to meet the power requirements of these devestatingly powerful weapons. The planets defense forces scramble to meet the ship.

On the surface Finn, Boriz, Baaz and Zahf are confronted by a confused trooper in a mixture of Mandalorian and Stormtrooper armor. It is thought he is a new clone, when he takes off his helmet the Mando's recognize him as a supposedly extinct Taung. They will sort this out later as Taal arrives to rescue them from the planets surface.

As soon as they arrive on the Nimrod arguements start over the best possible course of action. Finn is distressed about loosing his ship possibly and his only tactics are to use the planets defense fleet as a decoy to then strike the star destroyer from above. The Galactic Alliance ace pilot Rade Antilles takes a squadron of fighters to attack the star destroyer while Finn convinces the planets defense fleet or whats left of it to strike head on against the star destroyer.

Taal works with the engineering team to rework some minor changes too the Nimrods shields and they manage to boost the power a small percent, which is enough to possibly take a shot or two from this new star destroyer.

Rade gets his squadron under the shields of the ISS Torment from there they struck the ships solar array and caused huge damage to the vessel which lead to its destruction. During this time arguements on the Nimrod kept the ship from being successful in any of the attack.

Finn and Baaz feel very cocky that thier plan sort of worked. They soon discover that the group they had hoped to meet down in Indy had already fled the planet while they were used essentially as a decoy, much like they did with the small ships they had attack the Torment.

The planets administrator appologized for not being open with Finn and his crew but they needed to know if they could be trusted. Unfortunately Finn was used just as much he used the defense force. The clone facilities and military bases they had uncovered fled the planet to find a new hidden location. They tell Finn he must have a spy aboard his ship giving information too the Sith. Plus they do not trust Mercenaries.

They trooper clone they discovered on the surface quickly becomes useful as his comm system is tied to someone else on the Nimrod. A group of clones being used by someone sinister has planeted them aboard the Nimrod to blow it up. They have been causing problems for weeks now on the ship and with luck they can now find them thanks to the trooper. Problem is they plan on blowing up the Nimrod before the ship can travel to an out of the way star system to talk with the exiled Jedi Council.

They discover 5 clones are in the lower section of the ship near the hyperdrive.

Taal Vox runs up and drops a flash bang, the clones had no idea they had been discovered. The purple chip was the location of the grenade toss and all the clones have white chips under them denoting they can not see nor hear and now the party has full cover.

Boriz surges, tumbles in to try and look cool for a Jedi and attacks the clone too his right cutting the clone to half hit points, denoted by the Red Chip.

Tal Voxx gets a communication from his droid, Ehn-Cee Seventeen that due to an error on his part communcation with the Nimrod was jammed, this caused an additional problem that the Sith Star Destroyer Torment was not detected by the planets defense forces early enough so everyone is surprised that a Star Destroyer entered the system undetected.

The plus side was that the Sith recon team was unable to report about the Kamino clone facility on the planet Nikarb III. Taal warns the Nimrod of the Sith ship and promptly leaves the ship too its fate and meets up with his droid to go and rescue his companions who have no idea they need rescue.

Details of the Sith ship are that it is a new prototype with two powerful laser cannons that use solar planels to meet the power requirements of these devestatingly powerful weapons. The planets defense forces scramble to meet the ship.

On the surface Finn, Boriz, Baaz and Zahf are confronted by a confused trooper in a mixture of Mandalorian and Stormtrooper armor. It is thought he is a new clone, when he takes off his helmet the Mando's recognize him as a supposedly extinct Taung. They will sort this out later as Taal arrives to rescue them from the planets surface.

As soon as they arrive on the Nimrod arguements start over the best possible course of action. Finn is distressed about loosing his ship possibly and his only tactics are to use the planets defense fleet as a decoy to then strike the star destroyer from above. The art of character building So for the first seven levels of a characters career players choose the base classes they want, sticking with a single class or mix and matching to get the desired skills, feats and talent combo's.

Some might call this min-maxing but it is built into the game to allow for you to make a Jedi who is an investigator and thus you give him some levels in Jedi and some in Scoundrel.

There comes a time though when the base classes run the course for some. Making a 20th level Jedi is fine but you miss out on the talents and powers of Jedi Knight or Jedi Master Prestige Classes.

Prestige classes give a focus for the character, the example of the Jedi Knight is the natural progression of a Jedi who stays in the order. While not required to go this path, following it opens up options for the Jedi who wishes to become a master. Knight gives talents in Lightsaber combat styles for instance.

characters who use guns, pistols mostly can multiclass into the gunslinger class which allows some really unique gun talents.

As the GM this is where I stop building your character. On the 12th we are going to dedicate the first hour to you looking at the books for prestige classes. I want you to plan for the future. This will also open up the oportunity to build alt characters if you want.
