My ProfileAbout Me
About Me:
The Greatest Gamerwife Ever:
Tyrwench on the LoT site, Stephanie or Mama perspectively. 30 years old, mother of almost three (the twins are due Jan. 21, 2010), Married to Chadarius Hostesses the LoT game night with Chadarius twice a month (thus the username Tyr Wench as I've been cooking for the group for a year and half) Playing DnD for 1 year After much encouragement from some of the guys and Chad, I finally moved from spectator to Player Character. I watched the campaigns from the sidelines since Chad and I started dating in 2003. We were only able to see each other on the weekends and every other weekend was DnD. I came to the games and looked through my bridal magazines (by early 2004 we were engaged). I would catch enough of the plot to keep up with what was going on. Then when we moved in together later I would still go to the games but leave earlier than Chad. So, I would groggily listen to the game recap after he rolled into bed around 2:30am. I continued to 'spectate' this DnD thing after we were married and had Shane. Shane and I would attend the games and hang out for a few hours. Once the game moved to our house it was only a matter of months before I was sucked into playing. So why play DnD as a chick, wife, and mother? Most of my girlfriends don't even bother to ask anymore. I guess I am a closeted DnDer who just never had the right in as a youth. Once I knew Chad it was really inevitable. I'm a geekette at heart and DnD spoke to my creative side.
