    Wow!

Used the ideas of the DMG2 to use vignettes to flesh out some character background or to show the history of the area rather than tell.  It worked out very well!  It was a lot of fun!  I think it made it more memorable for the players as well.

Now I just have to update our wiki with the information.  (dmgaming.pbworks.com)

The only bad thing is the usual.  Now I ahve to wait a week to play more.  D'oh.

    More Gaming

We gamed last night, playing 4E in Dark Sun.  Having a lot of fun with it!  I found a lot of fan art and between that and some scanned art, am using it to show the players what Dark Sun is like.  Sure, I mention some things as well, such as coins, but the pictures do help.

Speaking of coins, I am happy to be in fantasy again as I get to use my awesome campaign coins!  They don't fit in flavor with SciFi, or Modern, which is what we had been doing.  But, I brought them out for last night when they found some coins!  It's a fun "handout" to have!

So far, just doing dungeon delves, to let them get used to their characters and start working as a group.  They wanted to start more unaligned and work into being better than the average Dark Sun person and I think that's going well.  It's been fun so far.

Gaming night is tomorrow.  We play with up to ten computers, three extra monitors and four webcams.  Just like the envisioned back in the 70s!

Maybe not.  But it is fun.

We are playing d20 Future but it might go to Star Wars Saga for various reasons.  Still pondering that.
