I just dropped into the Cartographers' Guild to see what this month's challenge had brought and was blown away by the quality of the entries. This month was themed on "Passage of Time" and has some great takes on the theme.

    A Stunning Cartographer's Website

I stumbled across the maps of Daniel Reeve recently and then I saw a link to his website posted up on the Cartographer's Guild. If you have any interest in beautiful maps or beautiful cartography you should definitely check it out. Lot's of Middle Earth eye candy in there, amongst other things.

It takes a certain courage to pull right back from all the fun toys in photoshop to create a map with this clarity of style. I'm very envious and will definitely be having a shot at a map or two in this style in the near future.

I like the new site, certainly pleased to find an RPG related social networking site. As an RPG cartographer this is an excellent resource and certainly provides a good location to supply a few bits and bobs to the roleplaying community.

First off, I've got some maps in my photo-album here that will act as a mini-portfolio. There is a free pack of higher resolution maps here:

Here's a sample battlemap from the set:

I also have a pack of free map-tiles that are created for use inside Virtual Tabletop Programs such as maptool:

Finally, many of my maps are available on the RPGNow store. These come in colour and black and white printable pdfs that allow you to print out your battlemaps for the tabletop, as well as high res jpgs for use in online play. Not bad for $1 a pop:

Oh, and of course the link to my website for a larger overall gallery of my work. Enjoy!
