I am 2 days past my May 31st deadline and am in the process of finalizing the first draft. I didn't do much work on the adventure the 2 weekends prior to Memorial Day weekend so that put me behind. I need to add monster tokens and the map key to one map, flesh out a few sections of the Appendix, and finish the finale. Some minor fleshing out in other areas is still needed, but those are minor.
I'm pleased with how this is shaping up. A lot of little things came up during the writing process that didn't look like they were going to work out in the execution, but I managed to find ways to tie everything together nicely, including adding yet one more tie-in to to the other Elturgard Story Area major quest.
I'm expecting to get the first draft to Michael no later than Saturday morning. I had thought I could get it today, but I'm not banking on that at the moment. I am planning to run my own internal playtest on Saturday afternoon with my new group.
