I've been gaming for about thirty years now, and along the way I've DM'ed a lot of games but I have to admit that the last game of the Dark Sun Encounters was the best game I've been in.  Why?  Because of my players!

For those of you who played it know that it's was a tough fight, and their characters were pretty beaten up when it went down.  But still they played smart, and they ran that ragged edge between success and failure and did manage to kill the Wastewalker. At the end of it all they succeeded, and high fives were well and truly earned around the table for all of them.  They picked themselves up and walked to the gaye of Tyr and parted ways (with Yuka's player saying his goodbyes and walking back to the Ringing Mountains seriously intending to live the rest of his life
