We had 20 people last week! Let's try for two weeks running! Every Friday at Chimera is: FNM! Standard Constructed (or Extended during 5th week) PLUS the option to run a Booster Draft or Sealed Tourney ON-DEMAND! This means that ANY FNM in which 7 or more people want to play limited... This means that we might have two different events running on any Friday. So people can come and play Standard Constructed every Friday and never play limited. Just a reminder....
The Avacyn Restored Prelease is this Saturday 28th of April at Chimera in Brierley Hill, near Dudley! We have a huge car park (free parking) and a number of spaces left in our event! We are limiting out event this time to 18 people and those spaces should fill fast... especially once people release what we have to offer over other "local" venues. April 6th at Chimera (Brierley Hill) is: Full Moon FNM Special Event! Special Doublesided Promos for Everyone attending (while supplies last) Great Prizes for those who rank And a few extra acheivement prizes! It will be a night to remember! We wanted to make the last Dark Ascension Sealed Deck Event before Avacyn Restored something special. The Sealed Deck Event will be 3 Innistrad and 3 Dark Ascension! This Friday is Extended Constructed night at FNM.
Entry Fee is £4 and includes 1 Booster. Drop by and have some fun! If you don't think you have a deck good enough for Extended... drop in and buy an Intro Deck! We proved the other week that they are a great way to jump into playing FNM. And they hold their own against Extended Very Well! But that's not why you all should show up... it's to see ALL THE PRIZES for next weeks special Full Moon FNM!

As scheduled...
This coming Friday, Feb 17th, will be a Booster Draft at Chimera in Brierley Hill. Entry Fee is £11 and includes your three boosters, as always! We have restocked our bar with Hot Choco, Tea and Coffee to help keep people warm. And as we have proven last night... the open fire works great! (When we have proper coal for it.) :) The store side of things are also staying warm now thanks to a new heater. So drop on by for a visit, a game, and some much needed warmth. Well... We got our material for running the Dark Ascension League!
So FYI... On Dark Ascension Launch Night (Feb 3rd), you can sign up for the Dark Ascension League! What is the Dark Ascension League? Well it's simple... www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Events.aspx?x=... To Sum it up... it's a six week Sealed Event with a twist. Chimera's League will work like this: £21 Entry and will include 3 Innistrad & 3 Dark Ascension Boosters Create a min 40 Card Deck with that Card Pool. (We suggest keeping that card pool seperate until the end of the League) Each Week you can purchase another DA Booster to add to your Card Pool. Every Week there will be different "Extra Rules" to make play more interesting. Each Player needs to try to get in 5 League Matches played each week, for a total ...
