Well, there is no real update! Although Blade & Lantern are deep beneath Gloomwrought, searching for a way into the Sunvault, they've finally encountered a monster even they can't beat - the cancellation of the Virtual Table!
Now, there are other platform alternatives, but for the near future, the Dol-Thamar chapters of The Bannerlands are likely to not be chronicled here. Nearly four years of continuous 4E gaming, aided these last few months by the VT (really only made possible by the VT, since the start of the Bannerlands we've moved all over the world), are slowly drawing to a close. As a group we're going to keep forging ahead, trying some new games, playtesting D&D Next, etc., but I won't be keeping up those adventures on this campaign blog. The adventures will...

With the side-trek to Nemenkraud nearly complete, Blade & Lantern will be continuing their journey to give the Eye of Iskar to Traledar the Gorgon King...and from there, to the heart of Dol Thamar itself, the ruins of Thamargol, for an audience with their patron, Vaeris Jaegar'val...

I just wanted to note here that Tom has taken over DMing, and the current members of Blade & Lantern: Valax, Malefic, Synh, the Drake, and Blackweyr (with the Dire Wolf Del) are deep within the Dwarven ruins of Nemenkraud, which they discovered while enroute to the Gorgons King's demesne. Searching for a lost Dwur axe and metal with magical properties, they hope to trade these discoveries for other riches before meeting with Traledar the Gorgon King
