Dear Fellow WPN Organizers: Due to the high number of posts inquiring about this topic - how to get a (new) WPN location approved - I've posted the information here and suggest we refer posters to this thread instead of cluttering the board with the same reply in mutiple locations. If you recently became a WPN Organizer and need to get an event location approved by the WPN, send an e-mail to dci@wizards.com and include the following information: DCI#: Name: Venue Name (if a school, please provide full name): Building / Room Name (if part of a school): Address: City: Region (state): Postal Code: Country: Phone #: Email: Website address: (Brazil Only) Include CPF# Once this is provided, the WPN team will be able to link the venue to your DCI # and you will then be able to start scheduling there.
Note: The WPN requires public locations, like a retail store, school/college, library, church, etc.; your living room made open to the public will NOT do.
Note: RPGA home adventures can still be run at homes.
Edit: They will not always send you a confirmation but will often just approve the venue; so keep checking back your "event sanctioning" menu.

Matt: Send an e-mail to dci@wizrards.com and make a request for sticky notes. I've been requesting sticky notes and a FAQ for over a year now, wrote e-mails, submitted various proposal for how to improve the board, and talked to some in charge face-to face. Nothing emerged out of it.

Would we have to fill out all that info again if all we are looking for is a slight modification to the location venue? For instance, changing an e-mail address.

jfslicer: based on previous experience, I'd say "no!" Just send an e-mail and ask them to change the e-mail address that is on file for the venue. (Well, as usual, include your DCI# and what else might be needed to identify your venue.)

Dear Fellow-TOs: With the discontinuation of the two service e-mail addresses dci@... and wpn@... and the transition of TO support to the contents system of the Customer Service/Help Center, the procedures for adding a new venue or getting a new venue approved have changed as well. If you are interested in becoming a TO but need to get a DCI # first (along with an approval of your venue), the best place to start would still be here. If you are signed up as a WPN coordinator or have a DCI/RPGA # already, you can now just fill this form. Happy TO'ing, everyone!
