Well, I had a couple of goals last night after the kids were off to bed:
- Investigate some freelance writing opportunities
- Run the Core Coliseum Pairings (10pm my time)
- Exercise (more than 60 crunches, more than 18 push-ups)
- Write something (anything...)
The first two went fine. Pairings are only taking about 10 minutes these days - but hopefully membership will increase soon to keep the roster filled out. Anyone interested in trying out tactical PvP D&D should check it out - I'm always looking for more players. As for the freelance writing opportunities - I'm still getting my head about it - but I sent a couple (or rather... one) inquiries last night. I haven't heard back yet though.
Exercise went well enough. I pushed myself up to 75 crunches and 20 push-ups. In the stretching I did afterwards, I found my legs were too tight to do anything other than sit up straight. Its amazing how out of shape you can be and not really need to do anything about it. As out of shape as I am - the only area it hinders me is when the kids and I are outside playing - and even then I'm generally fine. I do hope to be a little more flexible and overall a little more healthy in the coming months though.
Writing unfortunately never got done. I sat down to do it - but by then it was already pushing midnight and Thursday is my "early day" where I leave for work about an hour early.
On the positive side, the reason for me not writing wasn't because I was playing some video games or otherwise goofing off. I didn't get to it because I just had too much to do beforehand. Hopefully, that won't be the case tonight if I get to it.
