Thanks for the suggestion - will give it some thought. There is a already an organization of mages and wizards called the Esoteric Order of the Blue Lotus that shares spell between its members but there's a 1,000 gp membership fee and a requirement to bring the Order a unique magical item or unknown spell to gain admittance so not everyone who wants to can join.
I'm going to be writing about the noble families this week. Do you have any ideas for these?

The Dmg has some notes on what sort of titles to give out. Do higher level npcs get a knighthood and some land to support their title? Dwarves would never claim a title they have no right to,A lot of elves have some nobility in their geneology,does this make elven princesses a dime a dozen? A think elves have no commoner class and that when you roll up the elven community you should replace Commoners with Wizards, the preferred class for elves.

As a man of few words, it is difficult for me to express my sympathies. My condolences to you Traderjodie, and to your children. Wrecan will be very missed. He was and always shall be my friend. He was very insightful, and his support of this game was unparallelled on these boards. But, I'd like to think of him as participating in the greatest LARPing session in existence. He can borrow my axe till I get there.

This is a simple yet effective idea. Try to especially avoid murder, rape , cannibalism and etc. There is a reason why unpleasent people should not be allowed to be villains. These people probally shouldn't share their darkest dreams eithor!

dude, i had a nightmare about a giant fish with an eyeball in its mouth.
it was swimming/hovering......above the ground.......and got right up next my face,with its mouth open, as i face planted, all i did was push/ blow air out of my mouth, and it could not approach me......but it was realy scary and unique......idk, our fears can be very real. and to me, things you care about are most intresting to describe.

Have you considered buying Stormwrack for aquatic ideas ? Atlantis is different with every author who writes about it. How about a magic shell that generates an Airy Water spell that converts a lake like Lake Eerie into a place that airbreathers can visit? This would serve as an introduction to underwater adventures for your group, and allow them to get their feet wet , horrible pun tntended.
