I'm interested on other DM's personifications of Amyria.  We've just completed Den of the Destroyer and she is now awake and the party are keen to know her history.  Obviously her memories are still fractured but how have you portrayed her?  Does she know of her role in the campaign?  Her status as Bahamut's scion?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

From when I first read about her briefly at the end of Den of Destroyer, I got the impression she is very confused and has a massive puzzle of memories and thoughts scattered through her head. And because of this, very standoffish... I think my inital impression was (to mix genre) like Spock in Star Trek. Especially say during the movie Search for Spock and the beginning of The Voyage Home. It takes her a while to get things straightened out and regain a personality.

But these were just initial thoughts and I should go back and reread her section and future appearances.

For me, it will play interestingly, because I have a Deva Invoker of Bahamut in the party.

We'll see how they interact, if there's memories of war with the primordials, etc.

Well, I'm nearly 2 years behind this original post. The party just finished Den o0f the Destroyer, and they were none too interested in having Amyria around - especially the paladin who had to carry her, being of a different god! I kept Amyria simple: earnest and devoted to her duty, somewhat evangelical (to get under the paladin's dragonborn hide).  This will work out well, when the PCs bid her Good Riddance, only to meet again later on.  :]

I had a similar problem with Amyria, where they just didn't really care about her after they freed her.

By the time she shows up again, in Haven of the Bitter Glass, she has an important dream to relate to the PCs and can also help them form the coalition against the Githyanki.  If you have done your job right your PC's should hate the Gityanki and should welcome any help fighting them.
