Personally a LFR isn't anywhere near as appealing as a campaign I like to get engrossed in the universe and characters. If thats not what your doing than I don't mind stepping aside for the sake of numbers.
If you do run a campaign i'm in.

Sounds good to me...
I'll message Joe (BHD) about some character ideas I had. Can we start this Tuesday? Please? Pretty please?

Wow, this is getting pretty crowded, no?
If we all play, that'd be at least 8 PCs, which seems like a lot for one party. I'm pretty flexible as to who/what I play, but I've got a few ideas (as long as it's not a Druid, which I'm playing in another game). I did have a sorcerer in mind (pending approval of the idea from the DM), but would be willing to choose another role to suit the party.
Shirley's a much better venue for me, too, so getting there for 6 might be possible.

That is my main worry - too many people. It won't be logistically possible with too many. However I think it's best if we all endevour to meet up this tuesday and at least meet eachother and do an introductory quest/mission. It will give people a chance to get to feel their character and make changes if necessary.

Well, following some discussion with BHD, I'm going to switch and play a Dwarf Runepriest (Leader role).
And yes if we get started, with 8 potential characters, it might be possible when Gawen's moved house to split into two parties?

Yes, alternatively we might have to reduce numbers - if people are currently playing in the saturday game it seems like priorty should be given to new player and existing players without a game. Alternatively we could try to form a third group of playing.
Also I've updated the original post with some info in terms of hooks and a few small house rules I'd like to try.

I've PMed people with my address for Tuesday. Louise won't be here until about 8pm as she is working. We've just got enough seats for everyone, but it does mean using a futon which is slightly low at the table - if anyone has a couple of folding chairs they could bring, it would help. See you all on Tues.

We can most likely bring 2 folding deck type chairs.

I've rolled up my cleric and provising Joe okays it I'll get David to stick it up for me in a bit...
Unfortunatly, given the fact I won't be there/here (as it's my house) until 8pm, David will play my char if needed until I arrive.
Can't wait to be able to play d&d again...
