Yes, alternatively we might have to reduce numbers - if people are currently playing in the saturday game it seems like priorty should be given to new player and existing players without a game.
Alternatively we could try to form a third group of playing.
Also I've updated the original post with some info in terms of hooks and a few small house rules I'd like to try.
I've PMed people with my address for Tuesday. Louise won't be here until about 8pm as she is working.
We've just got enough seats for everyone, but it does mean using a futon which is slightly low at the table - if anyone has a couple of folding chairs they could bring, it would help.
See you all on Tues.
We can most likely bring 2 folding deck type chairs.
I've rolled up my cleric and provising Joe okays it I'll get David to stick it up for me in a bit...
Unfortunatly, given the fact I won't be there/here (as it's my house) until 8pm, David will play my char if needed until I arrive.
Can't wait to be able to play d&d again...
Sorry but something has come up and I wont be able to make it tuesday. =[
Thank you to everyone who came last night, and a huge 'thank you' to Joe for DMing - it was good to be playing D&D again after so long in the DM/Storyteller's chair.
Having spoken to Joe a bit after the game last night, the current plan is to carry on with everyone who is interested in playing next Tuesday at 6:30. We'll probably end up in at least one combat so that Gregor and Sarah have a chance to see how the mechanics of combat work. After that we'll hopefully have a better idea of who is interested in playing in the campaign long term and can work out what we are doing numbers-wise.
See you all next Tues
I'd just like to say it was nice to meet everyone, and to offer my thanks to David for hosting, and Joe for doing what I thought was a very good job as DM. I really enjoyed the style of the game and look forwards to seeing what a spot of combat does to the group dynamic.
I'll certainly be coming back next Tuesday barring any unforseen circumstances and hope that if the numbers do prove too many to handle long term, we'll be able to splinter off and run parallel games, or something along those lines.
If Tim wants a lift from Shirley let me know.
Lizzi's sister won't be able to make it at all. (which might not be a bad thing since we've so many)
We also have no controller - however this is actually not a bad thing as i) you can survive without them and ii) it means I can do something to speed up combat and not have to worry.
I'm going to aim to be home by 6:10 so I can get the table set up. I can probably swing by the station and pick up Lee I'd it helps?
Well, I'll likely be coming straight from work, so won't be in Shirley to pick up, but I work pretty much opposite the station, so if David's picking up Lee, it'd make sense for him to pick me up as well, if there's room in the vehicle.
I can fit both of you in with no problems Tim. Shall we say 5:50 on the south side of the station (the toys r us side)? My car is a red nissan primera. You should both have my mobile number in the pm I sent with my address in. It might be worth you both PMing/texting me your numbers in case there are any problems.
Just a quick update on who is playing tomorrow (as much for Joe's sake as everyone else)
Louise (from 8ish onwards)
Hope everyone enjoyed.
The riddle: 10 Mens strength, 10 mens length, 10 men cannot break it, yet a child can walk away with it.
I still think that Tim's suggestion of 'rope' is worth following up
How would you implement it in terms of opening the box?
Sounds like you guys have a lot of players.
I know someone else who'd also be interested in LFR, and may be up for a few games myself - so whilst I can see your current game is full, if you were up for starting a second game on a different day?
The main issues are a suitable time and place. If you can sort that out and see when people can play.
Small box – roughly 3x4 inches like a cigarette case. Silver. Hinged. Styleised with engraving of a celestial scene of sun moons and stars. On the back is the inscription in Dwarven:-
I am the hole in the night, the ever watchful eye. I return from time to time to enlighten the sky.
Maybe it's to give me an excuse to use the level 30 moon sized monster from the far realm in MM3....
Sorry all, but I won't be able to make it tonight. I've got a lot of work on and I'm in the middle of moving.
Are you happy for us to run Josiah 'in the background' so to speak?
Hope your moving goes well
Good News - no one died :-)
You've defeated the necromancer (he was amicable until Dregan let slip that he was a runepriest of Dumathor) and raided his lair. Lots of loot. Everyone is level 2 and has found a level 1, 2 and 3 item **EACH** plus there's a few other bits including a scintillating robe and things.
Although one or two of us came pretty close.
Also, "Dumathoin!" :-)
Finally, would it be ok to take 3 level 2 items instead of a 1, 2 & 3?
Re: 1/2/3 sure 2/2/2 is fine. I do think you actually loose out in terms of value though.
Matthias: Look, I don't think it should be a sin, just for saying "Dumathoi".
Jewish Official: You're only making it worse for yourself!
Matthias: Making it worse? How can it be worse? Dumathoi! Dumathoi! Dumathoi!
Jewish Official: I'm warning you! If you say "Dumathoi" one more time (gets hit with rock) RIGHT! Who did that? Come on, who did it?
Stoners: She did! She did! (suddenly speaking as men) He! He did! He!
Jewish Official: Was it you?
Jewish Official: Right...
Stoner: Well you did say "Dumathoi. "
[Crowd throws rocks at the stoner]
Jewish Official: STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! STOP IT! All right, no one is to stone _anyone_ until I blow this whistle. Even... and I want to make this absolutely clear... even if they do say, "Dumathoi. "
[Crowd stones the Jewish Official to death]
We've updated Kaddim and Sariella and picked their items - new character sheets are on iplay4e.
Joe, is it OK to have the sunglobe as a pommel stone on the new sword? I thought it would be a nice way to stop us having to worry about sunrods all the time.
Just to remind you, we aren't playing this Tuesday - see you all on the 21st
I'm ready to play - a lift would be appreciated as always, but if not I can make my own way there...
Just to confirm, we are on to play tomorrow evening. I'm in the middle of report season, so depending on how things are going, I might sit out at the start of the game to do some work.
Tim, Lee - I'll pick you up at the station just before 6 as normal.
After an epic battle defeating the lvl 6 and lvl 5 ELITE enemies you reap the spoils of your victory:
(note to self - don't use solos... they don't deal enough damage and don't die quick enough)
Amulet of Health (lvl 3) 680
Casque of Tactics (Lvl 4) 840
Flaming Rapier (lvl5) 1000
Veterans Scalemail (lvl 2) 530
Viper Belt (lvl 4) 840
Addergrease Leather Armour (Lvl 3) 680
Distance Dagger +1 (lvl 1) 365
Boots of Stealth (lvl3) 680
Headband of Perception (lvl 1) 360
Amulet of Seduction PHBR:Tielfing pg 28 (lvl 5) 1000
Sapphire Ring - 500gp (sale price)
A thorough search of the lords manor before the pesants and day watch arrive to ransack it yields:
2 Casks of liquid gold with 6 ruby inlayed goblets - 900gp (sale price)
Ornate Dragon Hourglass - 1500gp (sale price)
50 platinum pieces in a coffer (500gp)
Breach Bracers (lvl 5) 1000gp - AV116
Acrobat Boots (lvl2) PHB 264 540 gp
Lucky Charm (lvl 4) 840 gp
The temple of Bane will probably be able to buy upto 5,000gp of the items and local merchants will probably have 2,000gp between them to buy stuff from you. (if you sell items you only get 20% though...)
Also: =p Spoiler: Show
Orange topaz, also known as precious topaz, is the traditional November birthstone the symbol of friendship
Imperial topaz is yellow, pink (rare, if natural) or pink-orange. Brazilian Imperial Topaz can often have a bright yellow to deep golden brown hue, sometimes even violet. Many brown or pale topazes are treated to make them bright yellow, gold, pink or violet colored. Some imperial topaz stones can fade on exposure to sunlight for an extended period of time
Blue topaz Naturally occurring blue topaz is quite rare. Typically, colorless, gray or pale yellow and blue material is heat treated and irradiated to produce a more desired darker blue
Mystic topaz is colorless topaz which has been artificially coated giving it the desired rainbow effect
Thi is a +1 neck item that also give +2 against posions. Is there anyone else who doesn't have one? Or anyone who fancys swapping them over? (Kaddim might)
Head item that gives +1 to inititive and lets you swap intitive with a willing ally once per day - probably of most use to Calisto or Varryz to get more use out of 'First Strike' or Kaddim to get more use out of his samuri power
+1 weapon, can chose to make it do fire damage. daily power does extra damage and ongoing fire. Probably not of use to anyone as it is - Would anyone want the enchantment transfered to a new weapon? If not we might as well sell it
+1 armour, gives +1 to attacks and defences when you spend an action point - I don't think any of us wear scalemail. Does anyone want the enchantment transfered or shall we sell it?
Waist item - Gives resist 5 to posion. Probably of most use to one of the front line people (Kaddim, Dragar or Calisto)
I suggest we sell the rubies and one of the casks (680 gp), and let Dragar keep one.
arm slot item, melee daily power gives vulnerable 5 to next attack - useful to Kaddim, Dragar or Calisto
+1 to acrobatics, stand up as a minor. Could be of use to Vazyz, I think Calisto already has boots. Could of use to front line characters as well
neck item +1, daily power gives a +d6 to any missed attack, skill check, saving throw. Could be of use to anyone.
I've got to put my car in for some work on Tuesday, so I won't be home till about 7 - are people happy to arrive later and play a shorter game (We could probably do with some face-to-face time to sort out the equipment above) or would you prefer to leave it till the week after?
Just as advance warning - I'm away on Tues 27th. If Louise is working, we won't be able to host so you'll either need to find another venue or cancel that weeks game. If she is off (which may be unlikely) we won't will be able to host.
Edited to correct the hosting situation!
Joe, can you clarify the prices here - I assume its two casks worth 680 each (as per the book) and 6 rubies worth 900 gp in total - is that right? Can the rubies be sold seperatly from the casks or are there 3 embedded on each?
Yes TWO casks of liquid gold at 680 each - I assume Dregan wants at least one!
I assume this should say 5 pp (1 pp is worth 100 gp) Add this to party loot
If there's only 4+dm of us that week (dregan, josiah, varys and calisto) it might be easier to find a venue. If varys can't make it maybe rethink? I don't mind running if there's 3 though.
Next week Titus (the Morninglord of Amaunator) will probably call everyone together in the aftermath of the coup to explain what's been going on. Now that the vampires are gone it provides opportunities to expand in the region as well as deal with some ongoing problems Lord Rhone hasn't touched.
I think David means that if I am off on Tuesday 27th then I am happy to host. However not sure as to when I will have my rota, but as soon as I know I will update
None of the items, other than the Casks of Liquid Gold really leap out at me - I would happily take either of the head slot items, or the boots (as I'm neither stealthy, nor mobile), or the belt. The lucky charm would be of interest, but might be better for a striker? I wear Scale, and already have a set of bracers but am happy with what I have.
Joe - For storyline purposes, Dregen can idenitfy the Casks of Liquid Gold (along with the Flagon that the merchants on the barge had) as Dwarven artifacts from the time of High Shanatar. They would traditionally be used in religious services, or as grave goods - Moradin knows where you might find a decent drink in the afterlife, so a flagon that directs you to one would be very helpful - The fact that so many are showing up in Erlkazar suggests to Dregen that someone has been raiding the ruins of High Shanatar and selling these items. To Dregen's point of view, these artificats should be in Dwarven hands - I'd like to keep one cask to transport back to my home temple and, unless the party strongly disagree, donate the other to the temple of Moradin in Rivenshield if we're headed that way.
When time allows I'd like to lead the group to Tibold, and the ruins of High Shanatar, and stop whoever is desecrating the holy sites, and perhaps recover some artifcacts that are of particular significance.
ALSO - The shield I aquired last week is an Arms slot item according to the Character Builder - which would prevent me using it and my bracers at the same time. Can we just say that it really is the shield that's enchanted and let me keep both bonuses?
I'm happy to play both weeks if possible.
That's fine about the shield and casks/flagons. Tuesday will probably have a bit of 'party planning' eg 'we'd best stick together in this strange land..'
Sounds like everyone is happy to start late tomorrow, so I'll expect you at mine at about 7. Tim and Lee - the number 17 and 18 buses go past the bottom of the main road near my flat. You'll need to get tickets to Windermere Avenue/Millbrook Towers. I might even see you on the bus!
I will be working on Tuesday 27th, big surprise really... so I won't be able to host and probably won't want to play either depending on where it is being host.
We don't have space. (although there'd only be 5 of us max). Unless anyone can suggest any alternatives would it be best to leave it?
I made my perception check - I saw you lurking in the shadows for the last few years!
Sorry for the short notice. I will not be able to attend tonight. Have fun.
Hi An old time player to Dnd game from 3.5. Is there any room for a new person or is your group full up?
We're not on next week and play most tuesdays. I'll check with the person who is hosting and get back to you. A controller would be really helpful!
If you're an old 3.5 player, I'm not sure how familiar you are with 4th edition, or what information (if any) Joe has given you. (Joe = BlackHalfDragon = The DM).
Our party at the moment consists of;
Dregen Deepforge - A Dwarrven Runeprist (Leader)
Kaddim-Huna - An Earthsoul Genasi Swordmage (Defender)
Sariella - An Eladrin Cleric (Leader)
Calisto Navarr(?) - A Human Rogue (Striker)
Josiah Winters - A Human Warlock (Striker)
& sometimes Varryz - A Drow Rogue (Striker).
So as Joe says, a Controller character would complement the group nicely. We've recently hit level three.
The story so far is, in very general terms - The party met leaving the town of Saradush in Tethyr by booking passage on the same caravan heading to the Kingdom of Erlkazar. Each character had separate motivations for travelling to Erlkazar, as it's a fairly small kingdom of little consequence (as I understand it). When we reached the first town in Erlkazar, Avonbrook, it was in a pretty sorry state. The rulers of the town were not doing a very good job, and the populace were under a curfew, ostensibly because of zombie incursions most nights, but there was talk of people disappearing after a visit from the Lord's "Night Guard".
When our boarding house was attacked by zombies on our first evening in the town, we prepared to resist them, until the night guard came and drove them off. However, the night guard then attempted to force their way into the house. Their intentions did not seem entirely righteous to us, so we fled through the back streets, and took sanctuary in the local temple. By this point we were becoming convinced that something was not quite right about the rulers of this town, and the word "vampire" was springing to mind. We decided to try and engineer an audience with Lord Rowan by curing the town's zombie problem, and after some tough fights discovered a mad necromancer as the source of the problem. We learned that the fellow had a grudge against Lord Rowan and attempted to persuade him to potentially join our cause, but a mention of the god Dumathoin by the runepriest caused him to attack us.
Nevertheless, the death of the necromancer did solve the zombie problem, and did get the lords attention. We were summoned to a soiree at his stately home. Despite our best efforts and some strange events over dinner, we weren't convinced that the Lord was a vampire, and when he offered the group a contract to rid him of a meddlesome priest who was fomenting rebellion in a town in his fiefdom, most were happy to take the money that was offered up front and move on. Upon leaving his manor, we managed to determine that most, if not all, of the night guard were low level vampires - however there were too many for us to confront at that time.
In order to convince the lord that we were intending to comply with his request, we needed to travel to Avecin, the mining town concerned. After a mildly eventful trip through the Thornwood, we arrived in Avecin to confront the priest of Amunator. Knowing the tenets of Amunator, we found it hard to believe that one of his priests would be advocating rebellion without good reason, so we talked to him before we acted. From his words we decided that a change of local government was required, but didn't fancy our chances of fighting our way through the night guard to get to Lord Rowan. We determined that it may be best to fake the death of Morning Lord Titus in order to get another audience with Lord Rowan - and our best chance to kill him. The priest agreed, and we staged a scene where we chased him out of the town. An unfortunate side effect of this was earning ourselves the enmity of the people of Avecin, but we hoped to be able to explain ourselves once the vampires were dealt with.
We took Morning Lord Titus to another nearby town, Rivenshield, where Kaddim revealed that his master's mentor lived - a powerful Githyanki swordmage, and another potential ally against Lord Rowan. We survived various tests of our worth to earn the respect and assistance of this powerful individual. Dregen also took the time to craft a replica of Morning Lord Titus' holy symbol, and Titus was generous enough to bless it, to use as "evidence" of his demise.
The party then returned to Avonbrook, having sent Titus (in disguise) & the Githyanki through the gates ahead of us. They were to distract the night guard while we took on Lord Rowan and his household. The doors to the great hall had barely opened before Calisto cartwheeled across the room and attempted to stick her dagger into Lady Isabella's heart. Chaos ensued but after a lengthy fight our heroes emerged victorious. We spent the next few days supervising the establishment of a ruling council, and the loose confedaration between Avonbrook, Avecin & Rivenshield.
We have now decided to return to Rivenshield where the Githyanki swordmage has promised us some training, before probably heading to Tibold, and the ruins of the Dwarven city of High Shanatar to investigate the source of various Dwarven artifacts that have appeared on our travels, but have stopped en route to investigate a meteorite that had crashed in the Thornwood just days ago. We've just finished that little side quest, and will be taking Morning Lord Titus back to Avecin before travelling on to Rivenshield.
It should probably be mentioned that there could be repercussions from eliminating Lord Rowan & Lady Isabella, as Lord Rowan was the son of the ruler of Llorbauth, the major city of the area.
I hope that gives you a good idea of what's been happening. Feel free to message me if you want some help/advice on character creation or similar, but Joe should probably be your first call.
Hiya Crusinda, I did try and send you a message but you only receive messages from friends so I did send a group offering and a friend invite.
We do have a gap for the weekend group but as BHD has said they do have a gap in their week game.
Yes ... and they are just about to be ambushed by some spiders. We're not on next week either but I think we're fine the following week (10th)
Yes - as for easter week Lizzi & I are visiting family on the Isle of Wight. We are ok to go on the 10th I think.. spider ambush time :D
Everyone ok to be eaten by spiders next tuesday 10th?
I'm happy to do some exterminating tomorrow, if that's what you meant to say.
This post is for the Tuesday guys.
Unfortunately I've had to pull out of the Tuesday game due to work commitments. I'd just like to thank you guys for being so welcoming and fun to play with. Thank you.
It was good playing with you - Josiah was an interesting character.
You'd be welcome to play in my Sunday game if that works for you. It's designed to be a game where it doesn't particularly matter if you're only playing occasional sessions, so have a look at the thread if you think that could work for you.
Also the rough plot in terms of story level :
Lvl 4 - High Shannatar (dungeon crawl)
Lvl 5-8 - Gardmore Abbey/ Deck of Many things (precon adventure)
Lvl 9-10 - stuff that will hopefully lead to the change in the power balance in the region.
Just to remind that with the advent of cash and returing to the surface yo ucan buy anything up to lvl 5 or upgrade anything you own with no level limit. So a +1 sword/armor/icon - just pay the difference (assuming you can afford it!)
Are we selling items for the usual 20%, or are you allowing us to convert them to residuum to get the full value?
You can disenchant to full value and renchant using it as payment. The only difference will be cost in weapon
So lvl1 magic dagger (365gps) disenchanted (360 gp of residium) + dagger. You want a long sword (15gp) w/ lvl 1 enchantment (360) means the sum total of 15 for the longsword and 25gp for the transfer enchantment/disenchantment business. If you're out by a few GP don't worry too much - you can always borrow some from the party kitty and repay it later when you hit the motherload :-)
Lizzis got herself a rapier/cutlass type thing.
Good job mine hasn't otherwise I'd never have known. Good stuff, I'll see you later.
Just to warn everyone - we have Gregor's cat staying with us for the next couple of weeks whilst he is on holiday - I hope none of you are allergic to cats?
Lizzi is but she can take a tablet of resitance (cats) beforehand. I will let her know.
Any ideas about the playtest runthrough?
Usual time tonight? As I'm not working, I'll drive myself or get the bus or something...
I guess so - I will txt david to confirm. Lizzi is a bit sniffley but hopefully will be ok. If she's not though I will need to sort out transportation.
We can host tonight, but I am unwell and unlikely to be playing - if Lizzi isn't able to make it either, is it worth playing with just 2 players and a DM?
Well, I guess it's dependent on Lizzi being fit to play then.
Just to let you know I'm not available next week - although I should be back in time for the week after.
If lizzi and david aren't well it might not be worth running it. Especiall if they are cross contaminating their germs to each other!
As far as I know we are on to play tomorrow night at 6:15ish - Tim, let me know if you'd like a lift.
Probably won't be there tomorrow, if anyone still checks this thing. Will let you know during the day.
I have texted you, but in case you haven't seen it - I'm having to cancel tonight as Dad is back in hospital.
I think, having discussed things with Adam, the 9th of December sounds like it's possible, and seems to suit everyone best, so unless David says otherwise, assume the next session is then. We'll discuss a start time closer to the date.
We could also play on the 16th December if people are keen, assuming I can plan another session in time - or we could just make it a board/card games day? (Or the other way round?)
9th is fine with me. I'll confirm the 16th when I've worked out when I am seeing family before Christmas,
Just thought I would confirm on here that we are playing tomorrow evening - I'll send a PM to DM_andy (the new player) with my address etc, though as its late notice he may not be able to make it.
Can't make next Tuesday (or any 4th Tuesday of the month) sorry for not telling you at the table yesterday, I forgot that next Tuesday was the 4th one.
Just to confirm - we are playing on Tuesday this week, not Weds as some of us were discussing. See you all tomorrow evening.
I'm not around on Tues till late. Louise doesn't know her shifts for tomorrow yet, so currently we can't commit to playing or hosting. How do people feel about playing on Weds instead?
Neither Louise or I are around tomorrow evening - we can email character sheets over if Andy is happy to host and you want to play with just 3 players, otherwise we can host on Weds evening, or we could just postpone things till next week.
What would people prefer?
Just a heads up that it's my busiest day of the year tomorrow, so I won't be out of the office until 7. I'll try and join you after that, but it'll depend on buses etc.
Hi, just a heads up that I can't make this evening's game, i'd leveled up Galvain to 8th level, picked Improved Initiative as the 8th level feat as Galvain's fed up with always going last. Character sheet available here.
I believe I'm right in saying David & Louise won't be around to play this week (or next?), which pretty much precludes playing our usual game.
Are we doing anything instead?
Is the next session tomorrow April 9th or the following week April 16th?
Here's the character sheet for Galvain
He's down to 14 hit points and only 4 healing surges left.
Both dailies exhausted
Just to recap; got the brassier (=p) of fire inside the arc of the covenant style box and now heading back to Sir Oakley and Lenna in the Temple for him to perform the ritual.
Hello Lizzi :-)
It is probably a good idea if we start keeping updates and thoughts here as the campaign is getting to the point where lots of details are coming together. Make sure to correct me if I forget/mis-remember something!
Having KO-ed Berran, the knights surrender but not before turning on the mutated dwarf cleric of Tiamat. We can RP what happens afterwards the next time.
You now have 19/22 Deck of Many Things and have levelled up. (level 9)
The dryads mentioned a coming sorrow that would sweep down from the mountains to the sea.
The dryads mentioned an 'eye beast' holding what you (directed at Galvain) desire
Stuff : the blacksmith in town is making you stuff - upto level eight nine which you are assumed to have 'pre ordered' the last time you were in town. IE you can spend lootz to buy items that you need upto level 9. David will need to give out the party loot total.
You got a ruddy pommel stone amethist and a rusty sceptre from the crypts (ancient family heirlooms) on request of a merchant who will pay 500gp each for them.
Sir Oakley and Lenna have gone to town and are holding up there for a while, awaiting your return.
Teleportation rituals - no portal found in the temple. You have 'keys' (stargate codes!!) to Saradush, Calimshan and Winterhaven wizards tower. Might be worth re-searching the wizards tower once the ice has melted.
Orc village is still 98% alive and kicking. Bakrosh wants you to kill the elves.
Taloklaxus and Dregan are travelling to meet you in Winterhaven. Might be an idea to give them a sending stone!
Calisto dropped a bombshell about stealing something from a Vizir/Caliph/Ruler/Prince of Calimshan.
==Magic items from the dwarf / berrans 'apology' / berrans sister==
Calistos Stolen Item : Spoiler: Show
The Grand-Vizers Lamp: 2/day Full round action/out of combat only summons an djinn (genie) who basically functions as a 'consults mystic sages' ritual except that history or arcana is used instead of religion and can be used instead of any knowlege skill; You ask a single question of mysterious, extraplanar presences about matters beyond your ken. Make a History/Arcana check with a +10 bonus to uncover a clue, remember a bit of lore, or otherwise gain information about the world around you. The ritual grants you a single piece of information. That information can take the form of a word, a name, a phrase, or even a brief story, depending on what exactly you’re looking for. You can learn the name of the usurper who ended the Katerran Dynasty a thousand years ago, the burial rites of the Crimson Wolf clan, or the weaknesses of the shadow assassins who have been dogging your steps. The ritual can’t uncover information beyond the ken of the most learned sages. It’s of no use if you’re trying to find the magic word that unlocks the vampire’s crypt, because only the vampire knows the word. Nor can the ritual tell you definitively where great stores of treasure are, but the mystic sages could tell you where a specific empress kept her treasury in ancient times or whether the treasure was looted when her empire fell.
Feytouched Armor - leather (lvl12, +2, 13000gp) - bonus to initiative check, 1/E become invisible)
Elven Chain Shirt - *clothes/wondrous* (lvl9 4200) - +1AC when worn with light or no armour
Boots of Quickness - feet (lvl 8 3400gp) - +1 to reflex defence
Can probably give kaddim a wellcrafted mundane bow with a sheaf of arrows too!
From his sister for saving her:
Charm Bracelet - arm (lvl 8 3400gp) - +1 to sv vs ongoing damage, reaction: enemy suceeds on save, you get to make a save)
Citrine Solitaire - on a crit you can spend a healingsurge.
Elven Cloak - neck - (lvl7, +2, 2600) - bonus to stealth checks
From the Dwarf's corpse
Symbol of Vengeance +2 (lvl 9 4200gp) daily: if enemy hit ally, do +d8 damage, if KO-ed ally do +2d8
285gps - in platinum and gems.
Books and Scrolls on the worship of Tiamat. - If you beome 1 step more evil (lawful good > good > unaligned > evil > chaotic evil) and convert to 'Tiamat-ism' (and roleplay it) you get 'tiamats insatiable greed' (LEVEL 15 boon (replaces the bahamut/umberlee blessings) Gives a +3 bonus to hit things that hit you, 1/day you can reuse an item power at the cost of an allys power. At level 15 it will become the next step up and so on. Basically this represents you stealing some of the books before they are burned and studying in secret. If you do this it will have major consequences for your character. Not actually expecting anyone to do it but thought it'd be a good option.
Bracers of Suffering (lvl 9 arms, 4200) Loose 5HP, +1 to saves vs stun charm dominate etc
Things to discuss - paragon - do you want to take the abbey as a lair for Taloklaxus (in the temple/crypts?), with Sir Oakleys wisdom and Lennas admin skills? Or leave it to Lord Paudrig / Sir Berran / The Orcs.
It's possible to 'settle' it and leave it as a going to and forth base of operations in the downtime between adventures (since once you hit paragon it will be a bit more of a wider reach as is befitting paragon level heroes)
What to do with the DoMT artifact when/if it is assembled - you may want to give it away, destroy it, keep it, draw from it (which once you have all drawn it will dissappear and be scattered once again) Drawing is a high risk/reward option.
Here are my thoughts on the loot:
