Upon walking in to the town they find it to be peaceful the gnome has this odd feeling that the humans remind him of someone but just can’t put his finger on it. Upon walking in to the town they find it to be peaceful the gnome has this odd feeling that the humans remind him of someone but just can’t put his finger on it. So the cleric/monk wanted to buy food but when he asked the merchant how much he replied with “I will give what you want but you need to talk to Edward who is 3 blocks down and 2 to the left.” When the group goes the see he is a doctor and ask the m for help to watch for his sick well he runs to get some supplies.(at this point the gnome said he wanted to go to the tavern to gather info). After healing what he can about 1 later the doc returns and asks where some of the people went. The cleric/monk tell him that he heal and fix up the ones he could. So the doc thanks them and gives him a note and this will get you what you needed. So they all but the gnome head back to the mercant to get the food. After getting the food the rest of the group seek out the mayor to see if they could be of any help (or kill stuff) said the frost giant ranger who now is calling himself the earl of frost reach. They find the mayor and tell them the town does not need any help but if they head north the dwarfs can use some help on the boarder fighting the skaven. 3) Protecting the players from themselves. for example, I am running the tomb of horrors 4e adventure. Halfway into the tomb the players trigger a trap which is an elemental vortex/vent which attempts to suck them in and attack them etc. For some reason, they all decide to climb on tensers floating disc and fly straight into the portal. it attack each of them, 3/6 characters go down. Unfortunately, anyone slain while IN the vent is wholly consumed, body and gear.
