A group for players to get together for playing Magic in a casual setting. We're just here to have some fun with the game we enjoy. We don't care for heavily competitive magic, some competition is fine, but we don't like it overdone.
Description:
A group for those who enjoy playing with custom sets. Playtesting helps the correct development of a set and can be quite fun.
If you have never done this before, don't worry. We will explain you everything you need to know. It's quite easy and takes little time to get started.
If you have a set that you want to be included here for playtesting, but you don't have a MWS or MSE file, don't worry. PM me (Eurus) with the details and I'll take care of it for you!!
It doesn't even have to be a big or finished (the design) set, if you're trying to see if the couple of cards you have made would be fun or doable, we'll still playtest with them.

Welcome to the 12th Century
The year is 1199 and the middle ages as we know them have just taken shape. The Normans conquered England 100 years ago; the Crusades have given Christendom a kingdom in the holy land, and the Church is the strongest power on Earth. The feudal system is at its height. What will someday be France is now just a mish-mash of counties and duchies; Italy is dotted with independent city-states; England includes much of Normandy and Brittany. The Holy Roman Empire, the most powerful nation in Europe, stretches across Germany and the Alps into Italy. The concept of romantic love has just recently been born; the Black Death is still a century away. The medieval world as we think of it is just coming to be—Geoffrey Chaucer will be writing all about it in another 200 years.
This is the home site for the Magica campaign, a fantasy RPG game and setting very much like our own Europe around the time of the crusades. The game engine is the d20 System, with Ars Magica driving the magic system and a dose of Call of Cthulhu added for horrific spice.

The Big Card Project is a project where the You Make the Card community makes its own card set over the course of the year. Project leaders conduct creating, screening, and playtesting the cards to publish a good finished product. Help contribute by submitting your card ideas, flavor, and art!
Description:
Everybody knows the 4 player types:
Spike, the competitive player. Timmy, the player to plays to do cool things. Johnny, the player who does cool things with cards that were unbroken and Vorthos, the player who plays just for the flavor of the cards.
This group is to discuss things that fit into the Johnny type. Combos, ways to break bad cards or cards that people never did anything cool with. There shouldn't be any discussion of cards that are played in any sort of competitive deck, this is for cards like One with Nothing.
