The concept is an interesting one - by signing up as a patron you help play for the designer's time who puts the project together. You also participate in the project design.
I am excited about the experience, as I really want more planar stuff produced no matter who is doing it as I think the ideas are always transferrable. I also wanted to see what it would be like to participate in a design experience.
