No idea yet about how the top 8 will look, as the coverage is lagging hours behind as usual.
I do hope that Zvi, Frank Karsten and/or Paolo will make it, they're the only "stars" near the top. And name players playing on Sunday always makes it more interesting.

I like the top 8 actually. Obviously PV is awesome, as is Brad. Wraptor is supposedly a key person behind the scenes, so it's cool that he's making a breakthrough. Noah is also just an awesome guy.

At PT Houston '03, Gary, Dougherty, and Kastle didn't just finish in the top 8, they finished 1-2-3.

WTH is up with all the shots of the table? There should just be 1 camera focused on the cards he's looking at.
Edit: lol, it's just getting worse and worse. During the 1st pick of pack 3, the guy controlling which camera feed to show decided to pick the one taping the area all around the table. Suggestion for new requirement for hiring the guy who controls which camera feed to show: Someone who actually plays Magic and is at least a little bit interested in what cards are being picked.

Agreed. This stupidity constantly happens in the coverage at every T8 draft PT. Look, we're not interested in seeing a bunch of guys sitting around a table. We're interested in seeing PACKS AND PICKS, so focus the camera on the packs and picks! If you want to introduce the guys before the draft begins, fine, pan around the table before the draft begins, but once the draft begins, except during the review time between packs, focus the camera on the cards in hand!
