A former slave who advanced himself to the position of an overseer after betraying several slaves which led to their eventual deaths. Has a grudge against the party for making an escape attempt while under his watch.

Granj

Rumored leader of a small slave escape movement.

Hamash

Fruit vendor turned slave that the party encountered when saving the half-elf Orman from some pureblood elven tormentors.

Eramas

An ex-gladiator who helped the party defeat some Kenku gang members. He was also captured and made into a slave.

Orman

Half-elf vagrant that the party rescued in the marketplace, but he was unable to avoid being enslaved.

thri-kreen

A fellow victim of a knockout drug the party ran into when staying at an Inn commisioned by House Minthur.

Faldar

Member of the Veiled Alliance that the party saved from being captured in the slave pits. He disappeared the next day but left a note saying to meet him at the Red Kank should they ever escape.

Captain of the guard for Kalak's slave pits.

Spoiled minor noble in House Minthur.

Lissan

Female gladiator saved by the party from being choked to death in a brawl.

Morvak

Boss of a small stable of gladiators, including Lissan, that fight in the arena. Takes a liking to the party after they won their first practice match and were assigned to his management.

House Minthur

A decently sized merchant family that owns a large swath of property outside of Tyr for their own personal farmland, in addition to a townhome in the city proper.

The Skulls

Violent gang with an outpost not far from Tyr. Rumored to be intently searching for some ruins in the Tyr wasteland.

Weary

A tiefling slave with an unknown past who fell in with the party working to build Kalak's ziggurat. He was closely involved with them through their escape attempts, and their eventual freedom after the death of Kalak. When in audience to the newly crowned king Tithian he offered all of the party positions in the newly reforming government of Tyr. Weary was the only one to accept and he found himself with a new job as a scribe. He bid the rest of the party farewell but offered to help them with information in the future.

Dead

Urrgos

A stupid but good natured half-giant slave that the party befriended when they tried to protect him from a group of hateful elves. He was slain in a fight with gith slaves trying to protect a pair of senators that Kalak had thrown into the pits.

Cruerex

A suspicous slave that the party discovered to be an informant. Given to Granj to deal with his body disappeared.

Ramachil

Led a small group of elf slaves that were stealing waterskins from the non-elves. Killed in a race riot that the party caused as a distraction.

Kalak

Sorcerer King of Tyr who ruled for over a thousand years. In the final few years of his rule he tasked all the slaves that he could gather to be an enormous pyramid. Upon completion of the monument he held several days of arena fighting to celebrate. During the last moments of the final battle a large disruption started in the stands and a beam of psionic energy burst forth aimed directly at Kalak's viewing box. Kalak's magic was able to disperse the energy, but afterwards the shield seemed to fade and the box was undefended. One of the remaining gladiators below, Rikus, used this moment to hurl a heartwood spear directly up into the box. It seemed to have been guided by an unseen force as it pierced straight through Kalak's chest. Kalak died moments later, leaving the city in turmoil.

Volos

Former party member who was originally an advisor for House Minthur, and was taken with the others into slavery underneath Kalak. He was later executed as a example for all the other slaves after a failed riot and escape attempt.
