He was closely involved with them through their escape attempts, and their eventual freedom after the death of Kalak. When in audience to the newly crowned king Tithian he offered all of the party positions in the newly reforming government of Tyr. Weary was the only one to accept and he found himself with a new job as a scribe. He bid the rest of the party farewell but offered to help them with information in the future. DeadUrrgosA stupid but good natured half-giant slave that the party befriended when they tried to protect him from a group of hateful elves. He was slain in a fight with gith slaves trying to protect a pair of senators that Kalak had thrown into the pits. CruerexA suspicous slave that the party discovered to be an informant. Given to Granj to deal with his body disappeared. RamachilLed a small group of elf slaves that were stealing waterskins from the non-elves. Killed in a race riot that the party caused as a distraction. KalakSorcerer King of Tyr who ruled for over a thousand years. In the final few years of his rule he tasked all the slaves that he could gather to be an enormous pyramid. Upon completion of the monument he held several days of arena fighting to celebrate. During the last moments of the final battle a large disruption started in the stands and a beam of psionic energy burst forth aimed directly at Kalak's viewing box. Kalak's magic was able to disperse the energy, but afterwards the shield seemed to fade and the box was undefended. One of the remaining gladiators below, Rikus, used this moment to hurl a heartwood spear directly up into the box. It seemed to have been guided by an unseen force as it pierced straight through Kalak's chest. Kalak died moments later, leaving the city in turmoil. VolosFormer party member who was originally an advisor for House Minthur, and was taken with the others into slavery underneath Kalak. He was later executed as a example for all the other slaves after a failed riot and escape attempt. |
