Breeze moves forward quickly, hoping her questing shield might discover the tiefling's location and daring him to show himself. But neither draws the devil out of hiding, so she taps into her magic to send out a wave of force that surely catches the deceiver in its range. Therrat suffers 12 damage (half 25, since he's also insubstantial), and is pushed to i29. Just so you all know, he was standing right in front of the door, at j27.
When Therrat finally does give himself away, it's with the twin points of burning yellow light in his eyes that flare up and then burst forward to consume the heroes. Terror and pain drive many of them away, and the infernal flames crawl over the papers and ledgers on the desk, burning a good deal of them to ash. The cambion shifts to i28, drawing a combat challenge attack from Wilem (albeit with a -5 penalty, since at this point he's still invisible). Then he attacks Wilem, Xikel, Jaana and Frain with a burst attack: all but Jaana are hit for 8 damage (half of 17, since he's insubstantial), and pushed 4 squares. The suit of armor standing in the corner is waiting for Frain to get closer, but even so its sword can't get around the dwarf's stout shield. Frain forced movement triggers armor 2's readied attack, which misses. Krana, meanwhile, feels the sharp point of the devil's sword again, this time digging into the small of her back. The blade and the quartermaster fade into view together as the rager's blood trickles down to the hilt. "Captain!" Therrat bellows up the stairs, towards the door past Breeze. "Wake up! Enemies at the gate!" These words have little of the cool confidence of before, and are colored instead with urgency. Krana is sneak attacked again: she suffers 15 damage (half of 31). At the end of Therrat's turn, he becomes visible and substantial again.
All of the PCs can act next! Also, Wilem has a pending combat challenge attack (with a -5 penalty) against Therrat!

Watching the devil appeared once again hurting Krana and the others angered Breeze and hearing his cried for reinforcements she respond screaming with a strong, angered tone at Therrat saying scornfully "I will asked you another question, cambion!! Who in the #&$% do you think you addressing here?..." While saying these words the magemade a quick glance behind her then turned back to face off her adversary with her eyes showing and settling a distasteful look at the devil which caused his clothes to started illuminating. Breeze then lifted her staff upwardly and shifted her shield to her side at the same time which caused a slight glowed from her staff and a blood-thirsty, muscular demonic-looking creature to appeared hovering behind her looking over her shoulder directly at Therrat as to be readying to lunged at him but without averting eye contact with Therrat, the summoned creature reached for and to accepted the shield from Breeze offering actions while listening to Breeze's changing her tone to address him after a quick pause after she caught her breathed from getting Therrat's attention. "Guard these stairs. Kill any that comes thru here." Breeze unforgiving stare at Therrat never left him while she made her shield available to her hovering ally and after the quick low comment to the hovering friend and another short pause she continued to address the confident Therrat in a calmer yet stronger tone. ...And I'm no longer humored by your snubness; either you cease your hostilities now and I will considered pulling the knight off you, but if you dont stop this nonsense! The knight will be a minor problem for you from this point on!"

Wilem glances around after losing sight of Therrat. He keeps his shield up against the suit of armor, but Jaana and Xikel-dham bring the enchanted creature down. The others try to find the cambion, and Breeze's orb of force seems to strike Therrat somewhere. A yelp of pain precedes his twin glowing eyes. Wilem tries to strike the devil before Therrat can unleash his magic, but the invisibility glamour is still mostly in effect and the shield lander misses. A wave of fire washes over Wilem and the others, and Wilem is forced to retreat with his shield held high in front of him. Therrat takes the opportunity to strike at Krana before materializing again before them. He calls for help, directing his plea at the stairs leading up from the chamber.
As soon as the flames die, Wilem lowers his shield and advances. Therrat is parrying Krana's furious blows, and barely manages to deflect Wilem's sword strike. The two get locked up, and Wilem forces Therrat around and slams him into the wall, hoping to keep the sneaky duelist from slipping away once again.
Immediate Interrupt - Combat Challenge Attack Attack - Miss
Move Action - Move to H-28. Gain CA against Therrat (flanking). Standard Action - Footwork Lure vs. Therrat Attack vs. AC - 32 Damage - 13 Hit Effect - Shift to I-27. Slide Therrat into H-28.
Hearing Wilem's shouts of alarm regarding Therrat, Frain decides that perhaps his attention should be elsewhere. He dances backwards away from the armor, using his great shield to block its swings. The dwarf then nimbly turns on his foot and pulls his great frosted warhammer through a powerfull arc, connecting solidly with the devil's chest. Therrat weezes as the wind is knocked from his lungs, crystalizing in a cloud of vapor as it leaves his mouth. His arms and legs grow cold as a thin layer of frost covers them with blushish white haze.
Thinking she might fight fire with fire, Breeze conjures up a demon from the abyssmal pits and places it to block the stairs against any reinforcements that come their way. With a wave of her hand, she also enchants the tiefling's tunic, making it shine with bright light that will certainly keep the creature from disappearing again. Her commands for Therrat to surrender are ignored, nontheless.
Jaana darts in, jabbing the devil with her deadly dagger and then jumping back again. Wilem shakes off the fear that bewitched him and charges in, grabbing hold of Therrat and forcing him back against the wall. Then Frain, feeling that the tiefling is the truer threat, backs away from the armor, blocking a sword-slash with his shield, and plants a heavy blow on the devil's chest, knocking into the wall and freezing him with an icy blast. Since you both can't mark Therrat, I left Wilem's in place; let me know if you want to change that.
Jadeth follows up with some sorcery of her own, scathing the devil with crackling energy from her sword. Xikel, however, seems to have had enough of the cambion for now and holds back, guarding Jadeth rather than rushing in for more blood. Jadeth hits Therrat with an eldritch blast for 20 damage.
The vile, horned sorcerer stumbles under such a beating from so many foes, but he doesn't lose his composure. "It needn't be this way, friends," he promises, his dark words laced with enchantments that ring in the heroes ears. "Once the captain arrives, you'll see. Just keep this knight off of me!" Therrat uses his possession power again, targeting Jadeth, Jaana, Frain and the troglodyte; as a ranged area attack, it provokes opportunity attacks from Frain and Wilem. Jadeth, Frain and Xikel are all hit, Jaana missed. Jadeth slides to space e31 and hits Wilem with an eldritch blast for 14 damage; Xikel attacks Jadeth and hits for 11 damage; Frain slides to space i28 but misses Wilem with his warhammer. As his enemies fall upon each other in disarray, the tiefling makes a desperate rush to get away. The troglodyte's hammer strikes him as he goes but doesn't much slow him down. Therrat then hurries down the corridor, drawing more opportunity attacks from Wilem, Frain, Jaana and Xikel (Xikel's hits for 14 damage). Frain and Wilem, however, can only take one OA per turn, so they miss this one.
Freed of Frain, the magical suit of armor clatters forward up to Jaana. The rogue parries a few slashes but the armor wields its sword with exquisite skill and eventually catches her with a cut to her thigh. Jaana is hit for 20 damage, and is marked.
All of the PCs can act again! Also, Wilem, Frain and Jaana have a pending opportunity attack against Therrat!

Jaana flinches at the attack from the animated armor. Risking further attack, she takes a few steps back away from the armor and refocuses on the demon scampering down the hall. With a swift blow from her blade, the demon drops at her feet. She smiles happily as she prepairs to bury her blade in to him.
Jadeth, standing toward the back of the crowd, misses getting her hair fried as flames wash over several of her companions. She ducks down, instinctively trying to protect her bags from the flames. She has things that are too valuable to subject to fire. Her eyes will tear up when she sees that most of the papers on the devil’s desk have been burnt to a cinder. Damn! She leaves off attacking the creature in order to salvage what little remains.
“Xikel, over here!”
Jadeth barely glances up as she translates for Xikel-Dham. {Draconic}“Wilem needs your help,”{/Draconic] she waves toward her knight, already carefully moving the ashes into a pouch. Perhaps with magic they can restore some of these. The others bump into the desk, scattering some of the ashes. Jadeth growls and looks up. She cannot concentrate with Therrat and the others fighting. She points her sword at him and pushes her power through, sending a blast of eldritch fire at the devil. (post #207)
The devil retaliates & flames wash over her. She pushes her glasses up on her nose, once again bringing her sword up and pointing it toward the devil. Enough is enough already! If she were well rested she would have all sorts of powers at her disposal. Unfortunately, they have not stopped to rest recently and she has just about expended all the psychic energy she has. Soon she won’t be able to do much of anything except send a few blasts after Therrat.
She once more points her sword at the devil, sending another Eldritch blast of power toward him. She hopes this time it fries the sight from his head.
