His path to rock-thrower is blocked by the club-swing giant, but the knight of Weslan doesn't doesn't give up so easily. Wilem sizes up the narrow crevice quickly, takes a few paces back, then rushes forward and takes a long running leap. He easily clears the gap and lands on the end of one of the fallen pillars, reading to charge up and attack the giant.
Frain remains on the left-hand gallery to deal with the first giant. His hammer smashes into the brute's leg with a loud, painful crack. The giant bellows with a roar of anguish that practically shakes the earth.
The goblins continue to loose their barbed shafts towards the heroes, but with little success. The archer at the altar fires at Gar but only strikes his shield. The two by the rubble see Wilem rushing up towards them and both let fly: one shot shudders into his breastplate but the other sails over his head. Wilem suffers 12 damage from an arrow.

Jadeth looks up from where the boulder has slammed her into the rubble. Her eyes meet those of Xikel-Dham and she says in a voice wheezing for air. {Draconic}“Watch out for the giant throwing boulders...cough, cough,”{/Draconic} She shakes her head, trying to clear the spots that are dancing in front of her eyes.
Okay, she was too focused on the two goblins and completely disregarded the giant. She is sure she will do that again, but she is still trying to pull her senses together enough to figure out how to avoid it without giving the goblins a chance to turn her into a pincushion with their arrows. She rather likes her outfit the way it is. Any holes would only ruin the effect she is trying to maintain.
She points her sword at the giant, who even now is reaching for another boulder. *Oh no you don’t!* Her voice is charged with power as she begins to speak, focusing on the giant. “Remember when you stood too close to the fire. Sure you do. Your skin began to burn and sting and your clothing began to smolder.” Exactly as her words suggest, the giant’s skin begins to blister and his clothing begins to smolder as fire erupts from his eyes, nose, and open mouth.
Her gaze turns to the two goblins. “RUN!” The look in her eyes as she moves the sword over to point at the two of them tells them that if they do not leave, she will grant them no quarter. She seems ten feet tall at the moment as her will batters against theirs. The first goblin feels more bites eating into his skin and the goblin next to him jumps as a couple of slashes appear across his skin as well. Intimidate: 20(1d20) +13 = 33

The War Skald grunts as the arrow hits his shield, then has to dance away from the arrow skittering off the wall after being shot over Wilem's head. He sneers, angered that he has nobody to attack. Wilem was already rushing to defend Jadeth and Jaana, and Harn was battering the giant together with Frain.
That only left the center, and the Goblin would have to guess again if he thought a little wall would keep him safe. Gar shouted a curse at the cowardly green man, then roared as he ran at the wall, huddling at its base for the barest moment before starting the ascent. The Goblin might get a lucky hit in, but the Skald knew his fierce cursing and roaring had intimidated the green guy, he'd seen it in his eyes.

Aka: I try to include the penalty for concealment whenever I roll an attack against you.
Jadeth stands and dusts herself off from the flying boulder, and in a matter of moments the giant who struck her erupts in white-hot fire. The goblins also suffer for the warlock's ire, plagued by hundreds of tiny biting teeth. Gar'Glallan meanwhile turns his attention to the goblin up by the altar, speaking an old Flan curse at it to hinder the blighter while the Skald scales the cracked and crumbling wall. Opportunity attack misses.
From behind the heroes, a new threat arrives. A tall orc decked out in scalemail appears from the passage heading off to the west, apparently alerted by the sounds of combat. It looks like he's not alone, either, as he turns back and growls to someone out of sight in a tongue barely recognisable as Common, "Uh-tackurs! Go tell Kilsog hurry!" The savage unslings a double-bladed axe from his shoulder and roars an orcish battle-cry at the adventurers.
Harn and his pig remain focused on the cornered giant, however. Shattertusk makes an impressive leap from the side of the gallery, clear to the higher ledge with altar, then rushes around behind the yellow-haired giant to surround it. The big brute turns and smashes the boar with his club, but Harn takes advantage of the distraction to sink his axe into the giant's knee. He follows up with his second axe, chopping into the opposite thigh. The giant hits Shattertusk with an OA for 20 damage, but doing so draws an OA from Harn, who deals 26 damage. In addition, Frain gains a warden's fury attack against the giant. Harn then uses twin strike, hitting with both attacks for a combined 31 damage.
The giant, with dwarves and boars at every turn, swats at Frain with his clubs and connects with a solid blow that nonetheless fails to rattle the unshakeable Warden. Frain is hit for 22 damage.

Frain remembers his first fight with a giant in his youth. Then the dim witted brute had failed to account for the small dwarf at its feet and Frain, barely able to lift the hamer he wielded, punished the creature with a strike that laid it low.
Now, just as then, Frain quickly pounces on an opportunity and turns his mighty frosted hammer against the giant before him. With a thunderous crack, its frigid head cracks against the giants side dealing painfull blow. The giant teeters on its heels as it tries to recover from the warden's strike.
"Guys?" Jaana shouts as she stares down the orc near the entrance. "We got company at the door!"
Trying to grab the attention of the group, she fires another stone in between the columns at the wounded giant, causing him to topple over. She steps down from the stairs and skirts across the edge of the chasm, pressing her back against the eastern ledge but being far from subtle in her movement.
Harn's OA is canceled, so the club giant still lives.
While his counterpart on the western gallery is surrounded and nearly cut to pieces, the giant to the east is beginning to feel penned in himself. He hurls a boulder at Wilem, hoping to knock the knight backwards off the fallen pillar, but Wilem dodges aside and the rock smashes against the further wall. With worry starting to show in his dark beady eyes, the giant draws a flanged mace from his belt and points towards the nearest goblin (4). "You!" he orders in a deep rumbling voice. "Cut the ropes!" The goblin gapes back at the giant like he must be mad.

Frain knows the giant before him is nearing the end. With a smile the dwarf spins again with his hammer connecting solidly with the creatures chest. Frain breaths a sigh and a surge of strength feeling the bones crunch beneath the head of his hammer.
Wilem lands with a grunt on the fallen column and meets the giant's gaze. There is anguish there as Jadeth's spell causes his skin to burn and peel. Still, the giant manages to hurl a rock at Wilem, but the pain proves to distracting and the knight easily avoids the large projectile.
It is then that a new voice enters the fray, and Wilem quickly turns to see a heavily armored orc with a double axe calling for reinforcements. He can't leave the giant, now wielding a mace, behind to deal with the orc, so he only hopes that the chasm will help to keep the orc from charging the girls until they've felled one of these giants.
"You! Cut the ropes!"
Wilem looks from the giant to the goblin archer he is commanding. He doesn't know what ropes the giant is referring to, but the look on the goblin's face tells him it's a desperate gambit. If it's the netting over the chasm, the heroes will be at a great disadvantage against the overwhelming strength of the giants and their archer allies. He goes for the obvious attack, lunging at the goblin the giant had commanded. The giant falls for the ruse, stepping in and swinging at Wilem's back. Wilem ducks under the blow, causing the giant to nearly crush his goblin ally, and rises in a spin move, slicing the other goblin and the giant before hooking their bows and pulling them back towards the column. The giant advances to try and stay on the knight.
Gar sees the maneuver and calls to the knight, Oi Wilem! Have another! With a mighty kick, Gar sends the goblin before him soaring over the chasm to land unceremoniously at the Shield Lander's feet.

Frain slams his hammer resoundingly into the giant's chest, forcing the tall brute back against the wall and knocking the wind out of his lungs. The blow would have killed a lesser creature, but this is a beast born amongst the earth and stone and still stands firm.
Wilem employs a charge and feint to draw the other giant and his henchmen in close, slashing at them all with his flashing sword. Two of the goblins reach for their knives and start stabbing at the knight; after deflecting a few of their jabs, Wilem misses one and it slips through a **** in his armor. Goblin 4 hits for 10 damage; goblin 3 misses, but succeeds on its save to remove Jadeth's curse of the bloody fangs. The other little fiend, flung from the dais by Gar, takes the giant's command to heart. He crouches down and starts to pull up one of the stakes driven into the stone and holding up the net that stretches across the fissure. The spike is hammered deep, though, and the goblin seems to have trouble pulling it loose.
Xikel-Dham turns to the new-come orc and raises his sledge up above his head, baring his teeth at the bandit with the axe and daring him to come nearer. The troglodyte readies an action to attack if the orc gets close enough.
