Not so! As per the Malenkirk Conventions, I shall roll everyone's initiative myself when the surprise round is over. Keeps things a bit quicker. On the plus side, Captain Slow will get a second chance. To be slow.
Also, we can thank Kava's scouting and Moraq'om's high passive perception for overcoming the slimes' stealth and giving you all a surprise round.
Lastly, thanks to GROMkill, who I have delegated the task of map making to.

I don't think it is a good precedent to set to post mechanics and then later go back and post the fluff. 
Do NOT meddle in the affairs of dragons; for you are crunchy and go good with ketchup

Yeah, I know, I rarely do it. I just have a habit of getting ninja-ed when I leave my post open for 45 minutes because I was also busy watching the second half of the champions leage semi-final..
So, this was just me not wanting to give up that spot

I do understand. There is nothing worse than spending 45 minutes (or more!) on a post, only to discover someone posted a 4 sentence post that has made your post obsolete.  I cannot begin to tell you how many times that has happened to me.

It was clearly marked, but somehow I managed to still confuse which one was DS1 and DS2. Guess that's what I get for posting 30 minutes before I had to drive for three hours. Will pay more attention next time.
