Aaand, the rough regions for language have also been added to the lore thread.
In addition, the following rule has been added to the lore thread OP:
If a post contains a skill DC, roll a check for that skill once either IC or OOC to determine your character knowledge.
This means for languages you may roll both Streetwise and History, taking the higher of the two results to determine how far you may read.
Of course, if knowledge unknown to you is shared IC by a character who did roll high enough, you may read at your leasure.
Aka (and anyone else who rolls 25 or higher on the Elven history check): Given your knowledge, you guess Myalene is an Elf, not an Eladrin.

Elven History 3(1d20) +7 = 10Yuhren knows nothing of the savage Elves and is extremely relieved when Lord Garric enters the chamber. He is human right? That's the impression I got from the picture, the name, and the description. Though, you didn't actually specify a race... Language History 18(1d20) +7 = 25He is however familiar with all the languages used in the continent, which leaves him curious where he picked up one such as Primordeal...

Ah, I forgot to include Primordeal.. It is the less popular of the two languages used by arcanists. Currently there are no regions known where the language is widely spoken. Also: Yes, lord Garric is Human, and lady Isabel is Izzy

Lin, I was going over my sheet, and I noticed Iton has Thievery for some reason. Is it too late to swap it for History with the res?

Okay, updated my sheet. Couple things, though. First, voluntarily failing the roll for Elf lore. I think this'll be more fun if Iton only knows common knowledge and any Cetan folklore I care to make up on the spot. Also I made a box on my sheet to track lore knowledge. Second, ran Iton through the CB, and it's giving me some different numbers than I had before. I've been checking them by hand. My Will should be 17, not 16. I was missing the class bonus before, so this checks out. 10(base)+3(half level)+2(Cha)+1 (enhancement)+1(Class). So I changed it on the sheet. My Intimidate should have been 20, not 16. 5(training)+4(Str, from SAT), +3(half level)+2(SAT bonus)+2(Racial)+2(Background)+2(Screaming Armor). Changed that, too. I had Endurance listed as +1, I'm assuming from a typo  Lastly, CB keeps saying my AC should be 24. I'm not sure how, and it won't tell me. I see 10(base)+8(Armor)+2(enhancement on armor)+3(half level) for a total of 23.  I've left it at 23 on my sheet until we can figure out what's up.

Oh! Cassilda will have to learn Primordeal then, since it is something arcanist use. Guess that will be next on her list of languages to acquire.
We are allowed to retrain but we haven't leveled up, right?

Easy enough to point out, if you know what you are looking for. Remember the old rule for masterwork armor in the PHB? How certain types of armor would get additional bonuses to AC or FD, or something else depending on the type? They updated that with Essentials so that all the magic armor automatically scales as it becomes more magical. +2 magic Plate has an armor bonus of 9 instead of 8 bringing the total for just the armor up to an 11. (9+2 enhancement)

Yes, after the TPK I gave everyone the chance to retrain some stuff. See this post
Since we haven't really needed any mechanics yet, everyone can still take advantage of this opportunity. (If I don't forget) I'll give a heads-up when this is no longer allowed.
