The next giant lobs a brittle stone over the wall, this one exploding right next to Kjell and Aylmora, shaking Aylmora and the drake as well as dispelling Aylmora's steed. He then starts to retreat, leaving the front row so that one of the warrior-giants can move forward after throwing another ineffective rock. The other two giants also throw their stone, one aiming at Kjell, the other at Jakob. Aim grinds his teeth as he blocks off another rock and has to fight against being pushed back and into the pit trap. The other one hits Jakob again and almost knocks him off his horse. Both of those two giants then retreat too, while another from the back row moves forward as he misses yet again with his stone throw. The runecarved master in the back bellows out, in giant, "Push them back, don't let them get in!" He then shifts his stance so he has a good view of Ilora and suddenly a feeling of fear and awe comes over her, halting her in her step. GO Aylmora, KjellAylmora is hit and dazed (save ends)Kjell's drake is also hit and dazed (save ends)Aylmora's figurine-steed is destroyed/dismissed/whatever.Jakob is hit and proned.Ilora is hit and slowed (end of runemages next turn).Spoiler:

Heeding Aylmora's warning, the northerner vaults to the top of the low barricade and then throws himself at the nearest brute. By the way, the drakes will leave the battlefield if abandoned to their own devices, if you want them to stay, do tell me. (although Kjell's will first need to spend a round getting up again and saving vs dazed before it can move)

Aylmora takes note of where the statue of her horse falls and then in a few swift bounds launches herself to the top of the wall, then across the top of the wall to drop down beside Kjell, her ears ringing she can manage no more for the moment.
