By the way Roasted, I wouldn't be that keen in picking up the extra character cohort or running Sesha. I'm happy enough with Rex where his is, and hope to be taking his internal voices further going forward and that'll do me. I'm fine with just the 3 of us playing, or getting extra players in, both are good.

I would like to have a good excuse for not posting yet, but like the family says, "Excuses are like buttholes. Everyone has one and they all stink." It is crudely put but apt. Today is a nightmare and I am once more covering the store for the rest of the week so it may not be until Sunday or Monday before I can get a real post in. My apologies everyone!

Did we come to a concensus as to what we are planning to do with the goblin witch? I know most of us are not comfortable killing her, but did we reach another conclusion?

nope. just got back from vacation myself. think the game is stalled waiting for me to respond.
I'll try and post something by tommorrow night. rik will do what he can to avoid bloodshed as he doesn't think of himself as a killer - far from it. he'll try and protect the witch and is not overly fond of eric. not sure what he'll do if combat breaks out between the two yet.

Needing to verify some things before moving on...
Eric, Rik, and the goblins wandered out of line of sight with the cave.. that is, she has not gone to the illusory beating grounds the Aboleth referenced. From a direct reading of Mayeen's response, she has allowed Eric out of her sight and sees him returning. It should be noted that Eric, not being psychic, is clueless at this point.
Rik, per Eric's orders, is being peacefully detailed by the goblins. By this, I mean that he's tied up and gaged forcefully but not otherwise injured.
What Mayeen sees, then, is Eric and Rik returning. Although she doesn't know this, one is an illusion-cloaked goblin appearing as Eric and the other is an illusion-cloaked Eric appearing as Rik. Up to this point, Eric has no idea the Aboleth has communicated secretly with Mayeen.
At this point, Mayeen should identify not just that the illusion is of exceedingly high quality, but also that Eric is a skilled actor. He limps appropriate for his seeming injuries. Remember, Eric does not know that Mayeen has been warned.
Rik, in this circumstance, has not been telepathically warned by the Aboleth not to tell Sesha secrets. There has been no need. Instead, he is telepathically contacted by the Aboleth with a brief message, "I will not allow you to come to harm. Eric has shown great willfullness in being the one to speak with Sesha."

I could have sworn I posted to this thread, but when I checked I was shocked to see nothing - nada - not a freakin thing!  Whether the Post Monster ate it or I hit the wrong button, there isn't anything there. Okay...threw in a short post to get us started back up. Where exactly is Mayeen's psicrystal?

Mayeen's psicrystal is wherever she wants it to be. Unless otherwise specified, I assume it stays on her person. At the moment, I don't believe you've sent it anywhere else. It should be noted that Eric would like to kill the witch, but Mayeen's close following has foiled his plan. Eric doesn't know that Starmote gave Mayeen a heads up. He can only assume she decided to follow on her own. He admits, to himself, that his plan wasn't very carefully thought out. So, he isn't exhibiting too much resentment at being foiled.

The way RL is going, if this game went too much faster I would not be able to keep up. I think this is the only game I am in that actually has any "summer slow-down" happening. Someone forgot to tell the rest of the players in my other games that summer is supposed to be slow!
