A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...Spoiler:
Show

Episode VII:
Relics of the Past
The year is 16 ABY and the GALACTIC CIVIL WAR is over. While peace hasn’t returned universally, the forces of the IMPERIAL REMNANT, led by Grand Admiral Thrawn and Admiral Pellaeon have declared a ceasefire with Princess Leia and Mon Mothma’s NEW REPUBLIC, as well as Kav Findos’ CONFEDERACY.
Helping broker this peace was Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his JEDI KNIGHTS. By using the promise of Jedi training for all factions, as well as his father’s legacy, as leverage, he won over enough hardliners to ensure the ceasefire lasted. The galaxy is never safe though, and a darkness stirs int he shadows even as more and more Force Sensitives are discovered.
Meanwhile, renowned archeologist and smuggler, Galec Born, has recruited a fresh crew to help him explore the moon of Endor. While the indigenous Ewoks are of interest to him, the stated goal is to search for Debris from the Battle of Endor. A task that is made much more interesting by the sudden arrival of the Imperial Star Destroyer Daine Jir and it’s demands that they power down and submit to tractor beams... The Tie Fighter's warning shots across the Relic's bow shake the entirerty of old Gallofree GR-75 Transport. "We are here on a cultural mission to help bloody Ewoks!" comes a roar from behind Galec Born's gray and white lion's beard. "And this system is going formally join the Republic in a standard month! Why! Are! You! Shooting at us!" A clipped military accent comes back across the comm feed. "Sir Born, this will go much quicker if you simply submit. Moff Bosa has issued a warrant for you. If you are innocent, then we will clear you. There is no need for this ugly business." Born snarls and clicks the comm off. You are suddenly aware of how weathered the smuggler really is. "I getting too old for this. What do you think mates, should we just go in quietly, or make a run for the planetary shields?" Your ship has an Initiative of -5, Ref of 14, Fort of 34, 400 hp, 15 DR, 45 SR, move of 2 on the starship scale. It has four double laser cannons that deal 4d10X2 damage. More details on pg 111 of Starships of the Galaxy. Blue is the Relic. Dark Red is a Tie Fighter. Bright Red is the Star Destroyer. Grey is Metal Shards like an asteroid field. Yellow is the Planetary Shield.

Grambar's only slightly afraid of the two tie fighters as he's read they are somewhat fragile. Based on his understanding of their ship, he's pretty sure it can take a few hits, but the star destroyer is down right frightening. The fact that its an empire ship makes his big eyes blink repeatedly. He's heard tales about people "disappearing" once captured by the empire and wants no part of it. His imagination starts to get out of control and he begins to envision Emprie soldiers interrogating him and sprinkling his eyes with Czerka Insto-Dehydrating Powder. "Arggghhhh... I'm not ready to be a hero! Run! Run! Run! To the planetary shields Mr. Born Sir.... Gulp.... umm.. I mean that's just my opinion... ummm... sorry sir... I'll do what you think is best... sir yes sir...."

Calmly the Bothan looks around the room assessing the demeanor of those around him, Looking over the controls and seeing the ships incoming he knows it wouldn't be good for the benefactor or any of the crew to be boarded.
Strask looks at "Captain" Born, "Captain, Perhaps we can keep them talking as we slip past? Maybe give them a little incentive not to board?" Looking around the room he starts formulating a plan, "What if our cultural expedition were to have an ambassador from the Republic? Not a famous senator but a member of the senate all the same? I don't think the Imperial Remnant would be any too anxious to cause a diplomatic incident at this time?"
Smoothing his hair back he bows and using his best voice acting, "Brask I'fley of Bothuwai, diplomatic envoy of the Republic and Nephew of the esteemed Senator of Bothuwai. My entourage and I are on a Republic diplomatic mission to the moon below." With a wink and a sly smile Strask adds, "You all make for a fabulous entourage."
"Let's give that a shot. It will keep the Imperials from rummaging through our stuff and guessing long enough for us to get to the shield."

"I've got to say, I like that a shine better than being blown to bits by an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Someone should take the helm to get us moving, we don't want to waste time with this. The Relic's a good ship, but she can't handle that type of heavy artillery."
One person may pilot, and up to four people may act as gunners. If someone wants to take over one of the other roles, Galec can fill in on one of those guns.

Upon observing the warning dhot and the warning form the Destroyers Captain, Rex remarks to no one inparticular.
I think I just oiled myself.
He listens to the Captains comments and the others remarks then adds his own.
This ship is slower and a lot less armed and armored than that Imperial destroyer. We are already within range of all their weapons and as we cannot outrun them, we stand little chance of making it to the planetary shield. If that is the choice made I suggest we head for the nearest debris field and use that as cover.
Just let me know if you want me to make a run for it or stand down.
As for your idea of bluffing our way past, if you do not have any legal documents to back up your claim you will most likely get us all arrested.
Rex waits for the decission to be made.
Wash: "Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn through, this landing is gonna get pretty interesting."
Mal: "Define interesting."
Wash: "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?"
Mal: "This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode."

"We could set up and ambush? Theres plenty of space on this ship for us to hide while they board us"
-Quotes from The Rebellion of the Four players- alright, first round and our leader crited on our defender. Go team. Those were, in order, my facial expressions after reading Talis's move.-Dark9174 after A slick move by the enemy swordmage (I apologize ahead of time, guys. I hit the only PC I was almost certain I'd miss. I shall join Grunn in the "I've critted on my teammate" corner of shame, now.)- TheDracon

That is a horrible idea. If we attack the boarding crew the ship will blow us to pieces.

Seeing the Droid and Commando in an argument, Nawchire decides to intervene before it gets to harsh. "RHAAWRGH! Rah ugh rawrgh!" (STOP! I will go to a gunner's station!)
Leaving before anyone else can talk, he goes up to the Gunner's position closest to the Star Destroyer.

"Run for it it is. I would like to point out though that technically the Imperials don't have jurisdiction here. They've always pushed that a bit in the Endor system, probably because they still in deniable about being outsmarted miniature bears, but that's neither here nor their. I don't think bluffing them will make things any worse then they already are, and we may be able to close the distance to Shields before they start trying to tractor us in. I'd say go for it."
