At this point, Atin decides to introduce himself to the others. He walks over to the bar and sits next to Rorkhan. "Hello. I am Atin. I am one of the Warforged of Ebberon. May I ask who you two are?"

"Hmmmm. If your story is true, then we may need more than great feats. An army of our own, for instance. Maybe it would not solve the problem outright, but I think it would be a good start."
The newcomer's introduction was...puzzling to say the least. Besides the blunt forthrightness, Rorkahn had not heard of warforged or Eberron. He wasn't quite sure what to make of him...or it? Was Atin a thing born...or constructed?
When he finished swallowing his bite of food, he simply answered "Rorkahn."

hmm, that may not have been the best wy to introduce myself. If he only wants to tell me his name. And the other one, how will he respond.
"It's nice to meet you Rorkahn. I heard that theres some trouble going on around here."
Is this why i was sent here. to help theses people with their strugle
"You seem less disturbed by me then those guys" points to the men playing cards "I don't know if you heard my story, so i thought telling you what i was would help you. Though, based off the people i've seen around here, you've probably never seen my kind before have you. I will answer your questions about my race if you have any."
I hope this eases the tention that seems to have been created. I don't want to start off on the wrong foot
"I was curious to know whats going on though. That was my initial reason for coming over. Could you enlighten me?"
Yes this is probably a better way to introduce. And hopefuly the politeness pays off. I may have layed it on a bit thick though. hmm....

"Perhaps we could rally the people to fight. It certainly is not a terrible idea," Mekal said with a little less confidence than he should. It was not a bad idea but the Deva wasn't too sure of its merits.
Certainly giving the people the strength to defend their land would be good. I guess, people are going to die no matter what we do. I just wonder which option loses the least amount. Mekal was knocked completely out of his reverie by a blunt interruption from the Warforged. Not exactly the most polite. But I can't imagine life is easy for it without a clear enemy. Perhaps that's why it's here: to help destroy this new enemy. Better it be an ally than an enemy from what I can vaguely remember.
"Hello Atin. My name is Mekal." He smiled and continued. "I am a devoted messenger of Lord Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon." A brief pause and another sip of water before he continued. "I do know a little bit about what you are and where you're from but," his voice trailed off. He thought about the few memories of his previous incarnations that he could remember, though they existed with varied degrees of fuzziness. A wistful look washed over the blue-grey Deva's face. "That was from another time." Mekal's warm smile returned.
"So, you too have traveled here to assist these people in need?"
If we can find more like this Warforged, we'll have no need for an army.

Well his reaction was better. At least he has slight background knowledge
"It's nice to meet you too. I actualy dont know why i'm here. One minute i was on a job, next second i see a huge wall. I knew civilization would be here, so i started towards it. So wha's going on here?"

The tavern door swings inward once again as a cool wind blows through chased by marching twilight. The door swings shut just as abruptly as the figure enters the tavern, although it looks rather like a large bush for a moment. After a few seconds of scanning the room, Aro shrugs back the folds of his cloak and hood, seemingly transforming into a halfling. With a large grin on his face, he makes his way around the tavern shaking hands and greeting everyone as if he has lived in the town his whole life.
Making his way to the bar at last, he cheerly asks the barmaid, "Could I have a warm cup of cider please?" Aro shakes everyones hand, and makes a sweeping bow to Mekal and Victor, while clapping Rorkhan and Atin on the back.
So what brings you folks out here? I myself barely made it to town before dark. Some tavern company is more enjoyable tonight than among the trees. Far more conversation at least.
When his drink arrives, "May I also have some of that delicious smell when you get around to it? Thank you love." With a small hop, Aro seats himself on a bar stool between Victor and Atin and takes a swig of his cider.

Mekal looks at the Warforged, puzzled. "I must admit, that is quite an odd tale, Atin. Are you now far from where your job was?" Mekal believed this to be the most polite way to approach Atin's, if that was its real name, story. OOC

Insight roll against Atin's story, specifically to verify it's truth. Roll. Total Insight is 27.
Atin makes things sound like it just teleported here but not of its own free will. Odd.Before their conversation could continue much more, Mekal was greeted by a vibrant and jovial Halfling. The Deva couldn't help but smile. He was going through such mood swings since arriving in this tavern. "Hello there, Aro. I am known simply as Mekal. I am a devoted messenger of Lord Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon." Mekal nodded to Atin and Rorkhan. "We have just been discussing such topics. It seems that at least a couple of us are here to assist the people of Brindol with their recent troubles. And what brings you out here, Aro?" His voice was light-hearted, upbeat. Something about this Halfling's manner made Mekal feel at ease.
But in the back of his mind, Mekal still wondered about the Warforged.

If Mekal didn't go and respond so nicely, i would have killed Aro for that. But now is not the time
"Well now i know how you two felt when I interupted you. Aro, it's nice to meet you but i'm not going over my tale again. in short, i was on a job, got ambushed, started running away, then poof. I'm standing in the open feild and see the wall of the town. Headed towards it. You may not believe it but it's true. I do not believe in any gods, but i believe i was sent here for some reason. Why else would i just magicly appear outside a town, a town struggling at that."
I could learn to respect Mekal. It may take some time though.
"So Mekal, If you can tell me where exactly i am, then i can tell you how far i am from home. Though i'm pretty sure i'm nowhere near where i come from. If i was close, i would have seen an airship. maybe.
ooc: Atin will do this occasionaly. since he doesn't know anything about this world, he'll bring stuff up that is in ebberon. Since none of the stuff in ebberon exists here, i'm asking if your characters could either act confused or question what i'm talking about. just to make Atin Remember he's an outsider.

Pulling a packed pipe seemingly out of the air, Aro strikes a match and lights it. Taking a few big puffs he breathes a satisfactory sigh. Taking a sip of his cider as he ponders, a thoughtful look crosses his face.
"Hmm... Brindol, yes I suppose that's where I have ended up." he muses mostly to himself. "I have become a wanderer over the years due to... circumstances. I really just ended up here on chance, although it sounds as though the town may need our help, Mekal. Perhaps the Emerald Winds guided my drifting yet again."
Taking a few more puffs and sips as he thinks, a wide grin spans his face once again. "Bahamut, fancy that. It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of his company." Glancing of to Rorkahn, Aro notices the mark of Erathis on his armor. "Ah! Erathis as well! Quite the full tavern tonight with both of you here as their representatives."
Curiously, Aro seems not to be bothered at all by Atin. "That is quite the unfortunate turn of events for you Atin. What do you do for pleasure? I've never heard of an 'airship', although if it's a card game I'd be willing to play."
His smoke finished, he taps out the pipe and stows it again. His food arrives at the same time, and with a wink to the barmaid, "The smell of this food alone could starve a thousand troops! My compliments." As he digs into his meal, he raises his mug to Victor. "Would you care to join me in conversation as we sup?"

Brindol. I've never heard of it.
"An airship is a ship that travels through the air. or in terms you may understand, its a flying boat. And for pleasure, what i do is not a job of pleasure. I have no time for pleasure. Once i finish one job, it's on to the next. Unless you find Assassinations pleasurful. But i can show you what i can do with a knife."
Atin grabs one of the dinner knives, twirls it around a few times, then, before anyone can blink, it's over in the table where Victors hand was just 2 seconds ago.
"Why don't you join us sir. I'm sure you have some reason to be here."
