Go Cross! Welcome aboard SirK Hagurr will delay until after Cross (and hopefully Wren) while that swathe of destruction plays out.

@SirK8: Nice rolls, but did you take into account the new positions of the hobgobs?

I posted my actions based on the map in Post #1009 which I took to be the most recent positions. The 2 hobgoblins had moved forward to engage the PCs at the front, and the sharpshooters were still in the back. Was this incorrect?

Haha, worries. You had me sweating it for a moment there. Hopefully I took out that sharpshooter!

Bull's Strength pushes 1 sq, but Hagurr's Bludgeon Expertise gives a +1 feat bonus to number of squares pushed with weapon powers.
Rather than rewind a bunch, you can leave it as-is (I was iffy on the drawing of the OA anyway), but for future reference, Hagurr really likes to play "Bowling for Bad Guys." I'll have to look into the party's area powers to mke sure it's mostly helpful. Demon Dance is an alternate for when someone has to get away from trouble.
I've always wanted to play a pushy defender, but I had to search for one that could mark non-adjacent enemies - ta-da: the battlemind.

My apologies. I did a quick scan of Hagurr and missed that. Push Away! I would not worry about changing any powers yet. You guys are still getting to know each others characters abilities. Once you all know what the others like to do you will start working together more effectively.
Wash: "Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn through, this landing is gonna get pretty interesting."
Mal: "Define interesting."
Wash: "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?"
Mal: "This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode."

I have been reading over some articles on Skill Challenges that have made me rethink how I am running them. So, the next one I run is going to be done differently. I will tell you that you are entering a skill challenge and if needed I will explain a bit of what you need to strive for. Just enough to get you going in the right direction. Other than that it will be up to you to RP the situation and give any rolls you feel appropriate, with an explanation of what you are trying to achieve if it is not clear in your RP writing. This will put a little more pressure on me as I will need to improve my narrative writing skills and give you a little story about what effects your effort had. The desired affect is to make the skill challenge seem more like simple role playing to you the players and to leave me to worry about the mechanics while you all have fun RPing. Hpefully this will make the games a bit more fun.
