Sorry for the long wait! Chandra took pretty much the simplest course of action so I could get a response up quickly. Busy day today trying to catch up from being sick.

The illithid is probably going to have an attack of opportunity from Jasra-- I believe she has a feat that prevents enemies from casting defensively.

In case there is an AoO: Knowledge Devotion: 1d20+18=30 for a +3 bonus to atk and dmg. AoO: Atk 41, Dmg 30
The Concentration DC to cast the spell would be 10 + 30 (dmg) + 5 (due to her Gloves of Spell Disruption (MIC 107)) = 45.
The mindflayer is aware that he can't cast defensively so he might choose another course of action. If he tries to move instead, there still is an AoO: it doesn't cause any damage but the illithid must make a Reflex save DC 40 (10 + dmg) to actually move.
edit: given that the rogue attacked, he is more likely to be visible now (due to -20 penalty to Hide). Do we need a Spot check ? What is the DC ?

The mind flayer does not provoke for his action, but you also see him make no sounds, motion, etc before vanishing. The rogue is visible now.

Mmh... so either the illithid quickened and silenced the spell, or it was supernatural or from an item. He/It will certainly bear watching from Jasra's PoV.

Don't all casters keep 1 "Get out of Jail Free" card on hand at all times?

True enough. Though I now wonder if I did include one when I built Jasra...

Chias gets to make his actual actions for the round before the grapple, etc take place. So you can act as if you have just the druid before you and the blind orc next to you. If your actions prevent the grapple stuff from happening, that is cool. When/if the grapple stuff all happens, what would actually happen would be he would succeed on the touch attack and your check would beat his, then he would hit again, and your check would beat his, and then he would hit again and beat you, which would cause you to be grappled and take a little damage. So, if you were planning on getting out of there, great, if not, then you will take a little damage, but then it will be your turn again. -AS-

Ah, okay Anders. Chais would get out of the way at that point, at a minimum he will always move because of his skirmish armor benefits... will post later tonight.

1d20+16=28 Jasra has resistance 5 to fire.
@ Balthanon: near-misses hurt. But that's what your huge HP total is for. ;-)
