With the decision to stay made, Leon heads over to the game board. He sits in the seat against the wall with the fireplace and starts setting up the pieces. Does anyone know how to play?
Gregory smiles as he removes his helmet, I've played often against my grandma as a child. I must confess though it's been a few years. I'll play ya a bit later after I have a look around outside. I'm a bit curious what the immediate area is about. Gregory then heads outdoors to look over the immediate area.

"Are any of you any good at making traps? If so, I have a few ideas to make this hut more secure should the goblins return." He will describe his plan to anyone that speaks up, otherwise he'll make the check himself.

"Hm," Nyssa says, "I've never tried to make a trap like what you're describing, but I'll give it a shot."

Nyssa manages to set up a very nice trap. She is certain it will work and that it is fairly hidden so will not be easily spotted from the ground. The group then settles in for the night. Do you try to block the door closed? Do you do anything else before settling in? After an hour or so of sitting and relaxing and getting ready to sleep for the night the group is startled when suddenly everything in the room starts to grow larger. The group jumps together in the middle of the room as this starts, and stands back to back as everything keeps getting bigger and bigger. It finally stops growing and everything is about 12 times as big as it was when you came in. Looking in the corner Nyssa notices that her equipment she tossed into the corner has grown larger also. Luckily she did not toss her weapons into the corner too.
Still working on the picture. May have to break it in two to make it fit and still be useable.
Wash: "Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn through, this landing is gonna get pretty interesting."
Mal: "Define interesting."
Wash: "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?"
Mal: "This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode."

"What foul magic is this?!" Beorn utters as he finds himself shrinking. Yes he would have propped the door closed with the beam of wood. Is there a particular check you'd like us to make? Arcana?

Make any check you think might be relevant. I am going to update the map soon. You all hear a blood curdling battle cry coming from the direction of the game table and watch as a group of goblins come rushing out to attack you.

What size are the goblins? As he starts shrinking, Rathkar immediately goes into combat mode as he scans the room for enemies. His axe is already in his hand, ready to be used.

My memory is a little foggy but I think this is the same day as our last battle - so any dailies and action points expended aren't back yet. Beorn is unable to discern what has caused their predicament (Arcana check of 10). He resolutely draws the large axe from the sheath on his back and stands ready for battle.

The goblins are roughly the same size as you. They seam to have been hiding in the box that the game board is on. And yes it is the same day as your last battle. You chose to head out that same day rather than wait, so any daily powers used have not been recovered. Might as well give me some initiative rolls too while we are at it. I am giving the goblins a surprise round, but all they will do with it is move out of their hiding place and get into position to fight. I will try to have an updated map ready soon.

Anybody know a way I can stop this site from shrinking my picture so much? If you have a hard time reading it, just click on it and it will take you to my photobucket which has a slightly better picture. I have cropped off parts of the map not in use at this time. if you wish to run those directions, basically away from the fight, let me know and I will post another picture to cover where you are. I did notice that when I have it in edit the picture is much bigger, so worst case, if you want to see it larger just Quote my map and the do the preview.
