OK, now I'm wondering how you reflavour the dwarven revenant bit.
Could you strike the 'who now exercises influence over the Count' bit from the rumour? I have a hard time imagining the count staying in power if that bit of rumour came out. (From your brief summary, it sounds like the rumour did get out and wasn't completely hushed up.)
edit: Missed the longsword question. OK on that bit.
Ok, I can strike that if you'd like. I just saw that particular part as being viewed as a crazy conspiracy theory by most people.
As for the Dwarf bit, I was just going to leave that as a mechanical nuance. He's just really tough because he's part-Shadow Plane, in the way Aasimars are part-Celestial and Tieflings are part-Abyssal.
I know there's another potential player looking at Revenant, and obviously we haven't collaborated on how to flavor Revenants, so that's something we'd need to discuss if we're both selected. We could either try to agree upon a single 'origin', or just pretend they're of two different races entirely, that just happen to be very similar mechanically.
I missed fetchlings' existence in pathfinder. I actually think shadar-kai would be a closer match to fetchlings (e.g. shadow walk = shadow jaunt). But that's just a flavour thing.
Also, revenants are considered living and undead. Fetchlings aren't really undead, so that'll be harder to explain. Anyway, let's see what you've got.
edit: I don't see anybody else using revenant just yet. Sorry, reading failure.
btw, Count Galdana would probably not want a fetchling offspring to be known, regardless of whether or not he's too proud to admit that he was injured in a hunt.
Yeah, admittedly, my knowledge of Fetchling is based purely on the Golariopedia, not the actual Pathfinder books, so I know none of their mechanics. I just knew of their connection to the Shadow Plane, which also has no small number of Undead. For the record, I intentionally took the Ironwrought theme because it changes the character's origin to Elemental. Now, the intent of Ironwrought is for them to effectively be a 'Metal' elemental, but I think a Shadow Elemental fits it just as well. No subtype for elemental is given by the theme, by the way, so it still absolutely fits.

Ohhhhhh, completely missed that. Thanks for that. Guess I'm not elemental origin, then, lol. In that case, Fetchling might not be the best call for Khavarian's mother. Any suggestions from the more Pathfinder-versed among us as to what her race should be, that she might birth a living/undead son with the Count?

I'm perfectly fine with the Dhampir idea, I just decided to go a more Pathfinder-specific approach with the Fetchling idea. But with that discarded, Dhampir fits perfectly.
Edit: Also, I'm not opposed to skipping on Themes, they're just free benefits, and they add some flavorful variation to level 1 characters (which otherwise tend to seem very 'stock' built, no matter what you do). But they're by no means necessary.
