Btw, EDTA, When you count characters for role, (Leader, Striker, etc.) count mine as a Defender, even though he can be loosely switched between Defender & Striker. Only in very, very certain circumstances will he ever loose his Defender capabilities.
Also, my character's background & personality are finished.

I have a Dragonborn Skald with the Seer theme that I have been wanting to play. And, I love the Greek Myths, so I definitely want to submit him to this game. He will have to be leveled up since I made him as a 1st level character and his story will need to be reworked to fit into the Grecian theme, but I think I can pull it together nicely. Good thing I have a couple few weeks to do so...

Whew, I've been doing some research into old Greek myths, and I'm starting to realise it's been a while since I actively read them in Greek class  It's fun to read all the stories again, but I'm having some trouble with working out where to begin with Do. Hopefully it will come to me soon.

Heh, I'm starting to get somewhere Just as an FYI, I might include the major stuff about the past exploits in the Background block, then make a short summary of them in the Past Exploits block. That way I won't have to write the same story twice, or leave weird gaps in the background..

How do you feel about a Warforged? Hephaestus would have made me as a gift for a king of some city state.
How do you feel about an artificer?
How do you feel about a divine power source from Dionysus? I would want the ritual create holy water (wine).
How much of a budget do we have for rituals? Components?
How do you feel about Hybrids?
What about encounter and daily powers on items?

Nothing wrong with artificer. The flavor would probably veer away from creating magical swag, but there are other things you could do with it. Nothing wrong with it at face value, though.

Completely forgot about rituals. Going to think about it. Probably going to be that everybody will have an amount of gold at the start for Rituals, components, consumable items, mounts, and things like that. I'll hammer out the details soon.
Thinking about it now, rituals like Transfer Enchantment and Disenchant Magic Item wouldn't be in the game either. Enchant Magic Item might be okay for consumable items. Brew Potion would be fine. Going to think about it with the starting gold.
How do you feel about Hybrids?
Hybrids are fine.
What about encounter and daily powers on items?
Choosing the magical effect gives you all the benefits of it, including any powers that the item would normally have.
Assuming this is related to the Artificer concern above, those Artificer features that function on item powers being used would still function with these powers like they would in a normal game, just not being flavored towards item powers.
