Ruby smiles and even gives a soft chuckle at Jaxus's dry humor. "We'd only be so lucky," she says with remiss. But although Jaxus is busy staring at the walls the goron is focused on the large statue on the pedestal. The heavy suit of armor appears to fully encompass whatever body is underneath it. The great, two bladed axe the thing carries is nearly as big as Ruby herself. The thing looks dangerous and if it is more than just a statue then this might be a very bad idea.
"Long weapons out," instructs the goron while indicating the potential reach of the creature. "Looks like an old monster construction that I've heard about before. An Iron Knuckle. If it is, we're probably finished so don't get too close," Ruby warns the others. Keeping her halberd out the goron steps carefully into the room to find the quickest way to continue into the temple.
She immediately spots a couple of alcoves off to the right where the desert sunlight can still illuminate the room. Hopefully there is a door there, she thinks to herself. The goron would like nothing better than to bypass this room and never find out of that is indeed just a statue on the pedestal. But since she is probably best outfitted to meet the thing in combat anyway, Ruby moves in first. "Anyone got a light," she asks.

As ruby Steps in, three keese start flying from the walls and a deku baba springs to life. Roll initiative MAP

Those were, in order, my facial expressions after reading Talis's move.-Dark9174 after A slick move by the enemy swordmage (I apologize ahead of time, guys. I hit the only PC I was almost certain I'd miss. I shall join Grunn in the "I've critted on my teammate" corner of shame, now.)- TheDracon

Initiative = 1d20+1=18Although not particularly fast on her feet, Ruby was more than ready for any threat. So when the three keese swoop down out of the shadowy corners of the room the goron is more than ready to meet them. The big halberd in her thick hands is a reassuring weight, the wooden haft worn smooth by her callused hands. The steel end of the weapon glints as it reflects the torchlight. Ruby can't help but grin when she realizes that the deku baba will have no defence against the lengthy weapon. The keese present themselves as more of a problem. How does one strike at flying creatures, wonders Ruby to herself. She shifts one hand down to her over loaded weapons belt, hand running along the curved, wooden length of her boomerang. The steel fangs of her daggers would also be useful but Ruby is always reluctant to wing away her favorite knives. Instead she reaches for the boomerang, ready to launch it at one of the keese. OOC: Badguy, in my games I usually allow someone to hang onto something with their off hand while still using a one handed item in the other. I don't think the rules account for this so it is your call as a DM. Essentially I'd like Ruby to hold the halberd in her left hand while launching the boomerang with the other. Obviously if she has to catch the boomerang she'll be unable to use the halberd unless dropping the boomerang first. If you arn't ok with that then Ruby will just take a 5ft step in and ready the halberd to strike at the first keese that closes. 5ft step to D,1. Move Eq: Draw Boomerang Standard: Attack keese at E, -1 Ranged Touch = 1d20+4=23Crit Threat = 1d20+4=11 Miss Damage = 1d4+3=5 Fort Save vs DC 28 or Stunned = 1d4+1=5 rounds

I'm sorry to you guys. I was about to make a map post, but I decided it'd be better to halt the game until we get the nessecary replacements.

Ditto.
If we don't find some players don't feel bad about cancelling the game Badguy. It seems like your schedule might be a little heavy for it right now anyway.
